it was still in decent condition, great for the low price and none of the slight damages made it unreadable. i needed it for a class and in comparison to my other books, the price was a relief.

This book exceeded my expectations--it allowed me to see what daily life was like in a Samoan village (in the days when New Zealand still ruled), get a sense of Samoan cultural expectations and norms that pit their vestigial belief system against the pernicious advance of the modern day, including the contagion of consumerism--through the lens of a well-written and very entertaining story.
