Works great
Bought this for an outdoor birdbath. Helps keep the pump clean and is easy to ringed out. Comes with 2 different sized micro filters.

Easy to install and works great. IF you have sand in your lines or water, you need this product.

decent spin down filter
the filter seems to be working as expected. what i like about the entire concept is that the filter membrane is removable and i can clean it

Good but has some draw backs.
I used this along with a large carbon filter to pre-treat my water before it entered my water softener. However, mounting the filter to the wall using the provided mount made it impossible to open and clean due to restricted rotation. So, midway through installation, my plumber had to adjust and mount the pipe to the stud instead of the filter to the wall.

Works well. Does not impede waterflow
I use this filter in an odd way. I have a small room that contains my pool equipment along with a rack of servers. My setup is sand filter exit tapped into with a 3/4" pipe, to this filter, to a little hot water pump, to a water to air heat exchanger, back out to the pool. I wanted this filter to ensure no debris went through the little pump and plugged the heat exchanger. Works perfectly. Does not impede the flow of water and traps debris that can come out when backwashing/flushing the sand filter

Good product, excellent support from vendor.
Over two years of heavy duty use. Filter assembly well manufactured and reliable. The mesh metal insert filter is not design to last, will fall apart at the seams and require replacement. Wasted an hour with an Amazon agent with unintelligible accent who could could not either locate an available screen replacement nor assist in any way... I googled the number for the vendor who is sending me the needed replacement. Great service there! He mentioned those needed replacement screens will be listed and available soon from the bottom of the Amazon order page.
