Gomer the Gassy Goat: A Fart-Filled Tale (Fart-Filled Tales)

What a fun book. My grandson loves it! Nothing engages a young reader like tooting barn animals. Hahaha

I like the way the story repeats itself. The child is reading it through memory

Purchased Gomer the Gassy Goat for my grandsons. When I took it over both boys, ages 2 1/2 and 8 were playing on their tablets. I told them I had a new book and asked the 8 yr old if he wanted to read it to his little bro. He pretended not to hear. Then I asked younger if he wanted grandma to read it to him or wait until his big brother wanted to read it. Same reply. Ok I said aloud to anyone who wanted to listen, I guess I'll just read it to myself then. They both grinned. I started reading out loud, loud enough to be heard. My son got tickled remembering doing this not so long ago. I was about 4 pages in and could see they had both stopped moving their hands. Page 6 and the younger put his tablet on couch beside his dad and headed over to me. About half way through and the older one wanted to know if this was one I had read to his dad. My son laughed and told him no. I told him it wasn't available back then, but it should have been. By now my daughted-in-law had heard us and came in shaking her head asking in such an innocent voice why he would think that. The other grandma and I are now in process of picking books to make videos of while reading to our boys. We need to pick a few songs to sing as well since neither of us are getting younger. We both expected to by now.

A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) goat farting adventure storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s goat farting movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. My son loves this book so much he makes me read it to him several times a day and trust me when I say you will get tired of saying, " Gomer the goat has a problem. he farts A LOT... he is a sleepy, friendly, giggly, trendy-bendy, nosy, noisy, smiley, smelly, classy, silly, sassy, gassy goat."

It has tongue twisting much like The Wonky Donkey. Kids find it hilarious since its all about farts

They have everyone read this to them. The six year old can read most of the book himself, but loves to be read to.

I don't think this is appropriate for children under six.Silly me. I always thought the word "fart" was inappropriate word to say.

Rubbish. Not at all value for money. The author repeated the same words every single page with just an extra few words on the end. A complete waste of money and a waste of paper too.

4yr old grandson,loves it. His favourite bedtime book at moment. Mum struggles a bit though which I suspect is why he giggling so much.

Well, where do I start. For over £8.00 I was hoping for more than 23 pages in a poor quality cover. Repetitive, and not in an entertaining way. Please don’t waste your money!

Made the adults roar with laughter, just as much as the little one 😂😂love it 💖
