Anchor Hocking Heritage Hill 1 Gallon Glass Jar with Lid, Set of 2

I was looking for a good-sized candy jar for my desk and was pleasantly surprised by these. So many items on Amazon end up being smaller than expected not the case here. These jars are exactly the size you'd hope for, with a solid half-gallon capacity that holds a generous amount.I was expecting thin, fragile glass, but these are thick, heavy, and feel very durable. The lids fit well and add to the classic, clean look. They’ll be perfect for candy, snacks, or even office supplies.The only minor issue is that the rim of the jar has a sharp square edge. It would have been nicer if it were more rounded for a smoother feel when reaching in.Still, for the price, this is an excellent buy. Great quality, classic design, and very functional. Highly recommended!

I bought these for my moms house - they aren’t full in this photo but she loves them! Great size and quality. They seem to seal nicely too. Just got them so will see how they last but they are super cute!

I absolutely love these glass jars! I bought them to store my powdered laundry soap, and they are perfect. They look beautiful on the shelf, keep everything fresh, and add such a clean, organized feel to my laundry room. The quality is excellent — thick, sturdy glass. I needed these jars to feed my sourdough starter in. I am expanding and needing bigger jars for my starter to grow so I can make more loafs at a time. I loved that they came in a two pack becasue I needed one for my regualry starter and one for my gluten free starter!

I love these. Great price. So many uses. Saw them used to hold a jenga game as decor in a model home. Great on shelf displaying shells, rocks, etc.

I love these jars so much.. although one of them had a crack around the rim.. it was still usable though. These do NOT have rubber in the lids so they are not air tight.. but very beautiful!

I purchased to use for sourdough bread making. I use both for my flours. The wide mouth makes it easy to fill and portion flour. I like that they look nice sitting on my counter.

I purchased these to use for storing common washing items on my kitchen and laundry room counters. One holds my dishwasher detergent packs (Seventh Generation) and the other holds dry oxygen bleach for clothes (OxiClean).These containers work extremely well for the purpose I use them for. The glass isn't too thin or thick; they're of substantial weight but not too heavy to lift when filled with items. The lids lift off easily so I can pick up a lid with one hand and reach in with my other hand to retrieve the product by hand or with a scoop. They're not airtight and that's what I want.NOTE: These are NOT made for storing perishable food items and they're clearly not advertised to be. Customers complaining about this product not having a seal haven't read the advertisement correctly. Nowhere in the ad does it state it has a seal. If you want a container with a seal then you'll need to look for that specific wording in the title or description of the item. If neither states it explicitly, then it won't be airtight. If you're not looking for airtight glass containers, I think you'll be pleased with this purchase.
