I was concerned when I first received this brush because I thought the bristles appeared overly stiff and I was worried they might damage my hair and/or scalp. However, after using it I am pleased to report that it is probably the best brush I have ever purchased. It glides through my hair effortlessly making styling a breeze and does not scratch my scalp at all. For reference, I have shoulder length, slightly wavy but fine hair and lots of it. I think this brush would actually work quite well for any hair type.

I have thin, limp, old lady hair, and this brush has helped immensely. Using it along with the blow dryer gives my short hair lots of body and fullness. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this brush years ago in the store. I was so upset when I dropped it and it broke. By chance, I looked for it on Amazon & found it again, exact same one, fair price. I was very happy, it's a classic!
