My boss and I love Hallmark Christmas movies but can never figure out which ones are better to check out. This helps and creates a lot of laughs.

This is a book full of laughs, heart, and SO MANY Christmas feels your heart is guaranteed to grow 2 sizes reading it.These guys, even if you never listed to their podcast (and you should!) are regular people who are guaranteed to be your internal monologue when watching a Hallmark movie. Bran loves them but doesn't act like they are cinematic treasures, Panda likes them usually (unless there is a castle then he's in love), and Dan really doesn't like them....but even his take is honest and in good fun! If you love these movies like I do you'll love reading their takes on your favorites. Even Dan's, because he's usually not wrong in saying that it doesn't make sense...etc...I just love them anyway!This is a great gift though. You can use it while watching this season (which runs from October to New Years) or anytime to reminisce.Oh and there are some recipies in the back too. A thousand times better than the Hallmark Countdown to Christmas book (lame) !!Funny, and honest, reviews of the Christmas movies that are part of our holiday tradition- which according to Hallmark starts in October- whether we admit to watching them or not.The reviewers are Brian (who basically loves every movie), Panda (hardcore likes them) and Dan (who, bless his heart, thinks they all stink) are funny and good hearted. No slash and burn here.I would love, love, love more editions!You publish them and I’ll buy them. I literally cried laughing while reading this book. Bran, Panda, and Dan provide hot takes and hilarious commentary on Hallmark Christmas movies, which have become a genre unto themselves. Their fun reviews are complemented by interviews with Hallmark stars, movie bingo cards, and delicious recipes.This would make an amazing White Elephant/Secret Santa gift. Buy one for yourself and all your friends, and follow their Deck the Hallmark podcast! They'll bring oodles of Christmas spirit and joy to your life!Here's hoping for another edition soon!

Do you love holiday movies? Or perhaps you despise them? Maybe you haven’t watched many and aren’t sure where to even begin. (Fair enough, given the dozens of new movies that come out each year!) I've been a fan of holiday movies my entire life, and in particular have been watching Hallmark Christmas movies for many years. I also happen to be a fan of the "Deck the Hallmark" podcast. It was a no brainer for me to buy this book, which is a healthy mix of podcast commentary and Hallmark movie encyclopedia. Add in some recipes (Panda's frozen hot cocoa!) and fun quotes provided by many of the network's popular actors, and this is the perfect coffee table book to set out every winter. I can't wait for Volume 2!!

I am a big fan of the Deck the Hallmark podcast so I snatched up a copy of this book as soon as it came out. Bran, Panda and Dan have reviewed over 100 Hallmark Christmas movies in this book. They give honest, hysterical takes on these movies that you either love, like or hate. This book is a must have this holiday season! I look forward to a potential book 2 in the future

The Deck the Hallmark podcast hosts and film critic Alonso Duralde worked together on a look at Hallmark Christmas movies throughout the past 15-20 years, including comments and insights from some of the best loved Hallmark movie actors.
