Mudder Headphone/Headset Ear Pad Replacement Compatible with Bose Around Ear AE1/ Triport 1 TP-1 Headphones

I've had my Bose Triport TP-1A headphones for about 10 years. They still worked fine but the ear cushions started to crumble. I found and purchased these 3rd party replacement cushions in April 2019. They were easy to install, comfortable and a perfect fit all around. I'm happy to report that now, April 2020, they are still in like-new condition. I wear them at least twice a week for several hours at a time. The price, comfort, ease of use, quality and durability all are outstanding so I can highly recommend them.

TL;DR Over all the fit and finish is very good, similar to the factory versions. For the money it’s a no-brained buy. Easy to install. An excellent value, easy to install. If you take your time it should take no more than 15 min. My ear pads also came with the replacement fabric ovals that fit on top of the driver. First step is to peak the old pads off. These are held on by a small plastic lip the is along the entire circumference of the pad. Note how it fits in, you’ll be reversing this step to re install the new pad. Second step is to peak off the old fabric, it’s held on by a sticking adhesive. I was able to scape off using my fingernail. You could take an extra step by cleaning off the rest with rubbing alcohol. Third step is to take the new ear pad and fabric out of the bag. Peel the backing off the adhesive tape already attached to the fabric. Note the two different sizes, the plastic base inside the headphones matches the shape of the adhesive tape. Press the fabric down, I didn’t see a difference between the left and right sides. Repeat on the other side Step four is to snap in the pads. Place the pad on the oval plastic case and use your fingertips and/or fingernails to press down on just the edge, you’ll hear a slight “snap” when it seats. If you don’t hear that “snap” it isn’t on yet. Work your pad all the way around until it is installed. Repeat on the other side

I've had these headphones since the 90s and they still work well and sound good, I've replaced the cushions twice so far and these are good replacements.

Exactly what I needed! Perfectly fits my Bose TP-1A headphones. The original ear pads fell apart so I haven't used the headphones in over a year. So happy to find these replacement pads and be using my favorite pair of headphones again. It took a little effort to make sure the new pads snapped in completely, but installing them was quick and easy. They also come with replacement inner foam pads, which I haven't needed yet, but it's nice to know I have them in-hand for when I do. I can't remember how the TP-1A headphones felt brand new, but I'm very happy with the quality and comfort of these replacement pads. I've been using them for weeks now haven't had any issues. These fit my headphones perfectly. The hard plastic Rim fit right into the Bose grove. Far easier than the type of replacement pads that you have to stretch over a stubborn edge. The replacement speaker covers where identical size and tape mounting points as the ones that were installed. The only notable differences from the old ones (I have no idea if the old ones were original): The air or vent holes on the back side are smaller than the ones that were on the unit The old ones I took off definitely were not leather. The peeling black cover on my old ones revealed fabric. These are comfortable.

Only had these a few days but so far they're terrific. My husband handed down his Bose over the ear headphones to our son, and after a couple years of regular use the ear pads wore out. These replacement pads are a perfect fit. My son is very particular about the fit of headphones (he's 9 for the record), and the Bose ones are the only headphones he's been able to comfortably use. He says these replacement pads are just slightly less padded but very comfortable. They did pop out after a couple uses, but we super glued them back on. Will update if any problems arise, but so far we are very happy with these replacement pads.

These replacement pads are just what I needed when the original ones literally disintegrated after being in storage for years. Although these are not as comfortable as the original ones, they do the job well. When I first got the package, there were NO instructions. I thought that there were some adhesives on the pad that I needed to peel back or something. Upon further reading from other reviewers, I saw my error. This was very simple to install. I feel as if I know have a brand new pair of Bose headsets to use with my mic setup for video calls.

These fit the Bose Triports perfectly. Installation took less than a minute and they look original. But they are definitely not as comfortable as the original Bose ear pads. The Bose ear pads are softer and exceptionally comfortable , but these are just average or ordinary comfort wise. If I were purchasing again, I would spend the extra $25 and buy the original Bose replacement ear pads, but would also say that these are a great value for $9.

Perfect fit and feel, made my earphones look new again! The internal felts are a great addition too so your able to renew the headset.

Mine were an older set of Bose headphones. I could just make out the model: TP 1 on the inside of the head band. I didn't know if the replacement pads would fit but the price was worth the risk considering how much I love the headphones. I'm please to say they were the perfect replacement. They did not come with instructions but after studying that notches around the outside edge of the pad it was easy to see how I was to install them. It's like I've resurrect my expensive headphones from the grave!

Very simple to install by following the instructions. Very comfortable, seems to be as good as the original ones that came with my Bose headphones.
