CiaraQ 60-Color Polymer Clay Oven Bake Modeling Kit

This craft was so fun for me and my family during our annual lake trip! Everyone was obsessed and they turned out so cute. The only thing I would like is if the kit came with a mini rolling pin. I would also like if the kit came with 2 white clays and 2 black clays, since those are the colors we ran out of first. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone wanting to do a fun clay craft! The pic I added shows a shine on the clay and magnet on the back. Just know that I had to add that myself with materials NOT included in the kit - other materials I bought included clear gel polish with a UV light, as well as glue and a small magnet.

I'm a clay beginner who has been making little clay magnets solely for the fun of it. I'm not making larger items, nor do I intend to sell any of my creations. It's just a new little hobby of mine! This set is perfect for people like me. It comes with a huge variety of different colors, along with basic tools and even a few items for making jewelry. I have to admit, I was very surprised by how high-quality these clays are, considering the set comes with SO much for such an affordable price. The clays are easy to work with: they're soft, easy to shape, and don't crack or break. The set only comes with a small amount of each clay color, but if you're a beginner who is just exploring a new hobby, you'll have more than enough clay with this kit. After I make my creations, I've been baking and glazing them, and I've been SO impressed with the results!

Recently got into polymer clay as my hobby and I love it. Making small magnets and more. These clays are perfect and have a good variety of colors. They are soft and easy to pull apart my only wish that the clay had more, the individual packets are small. The instructions are included to tell you what to bake them at. I recently purchased some clay at Hobby lobby and love this more. Its easier to work with because of how much softer it is than the Hobby lobby one.

At first, I didn't realize it was polymer clay and not play dough. I bought this set for my five-year-old daughter because she loves sculpting. I'm going to say I won't be buying regular play dough again. Polymer clay is perfect for both adult and child-sized creative projects. Whether you plan to use it for crafts and then oven-dry it, or just sculpt like regular play dough, this material is perfect for both. Unlike regular play dough, polymer clay doesn't dry out; you can safely leave it on the counter for several days and it will retain its color and softness without drying out. You can take the pieces apart and mold them into something new. And if you want to make your creations last forever, 15 minutes in the oven at 260°C will harden them and allow you to use them as decorative elements or play with them as toys.

Very good product, many vibrant colors. I've made some clay magnets with this myself. Definitely recommend, especially if you're a beginner or just want to have fun and be creative.

This is a good BEGINNER sample kit. However, the container is small and the blocks of clay are about 1/4 of a standard block you would buy in a craft store. The tools that come with it are standard plastic BEGINNER tools, but they do come in some interesting shapes.

Good for beginners but this clay is SO hard. When you go from Sculpy to this clay, you're going to regret it. Bought this to try it out and it's serviceable. Good colors but you get what you pay for.

THE CLAY PIECES ARE SMALL, BUT IM JUST A BEGINNER TO THIS SO AM QUITE HAPPY...YOU GET 5 TOOLS, AND LITTLE EXTRAS TO MAKE EARRINGS, KEY CHAINS AND THOSE PHONE/PURSE DANGLY THINGS....THIS WOULD BE A GREAT KIT FOR SMALLER KIDS EVEN....I KNOW IM GOING TO HAVE HOURS OF FUN DOING WHAT I WANTED WITH THIS KIT....VERY MUCH RECOMMEND (ESPECIALLY NOW DURING COVID....HOURS OF FUN MEANS HOURS OF PEACE FOR YOU LOL)

The clay was very easy to work with which makes it so much better on the hands than some clays out there. The size of the blocks is small but for me that's fine because I make charms so small amounts of a color is more workable. If you keep the size in mind then this is a good product to start out with. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was one of the boxes I ordered was damaged. The clay inside was a bit smooshed but I still used it.

Just as described, and great value. I made doll house dishes out of it for a 4 yr old, and they are holding up great. The clay is very easy to work with, and strong when cured.

I got a good variety of colours. The packages are small, but there is more than enough for miniature projects. The tools are a little disappointing because they have injection mold lines, so they sadly can't do smooth work without gouging the clay a little bit. I had other tools on hand that helped me though. The case is neat too, keeps everything together. The clay itself is decent, it's pretty soft and easy to mold, though I found it a little sticky and/oily if I overworked it, so it's a little hard to walk that line at times. Some colours may stain your fingers so I recommend wiping your fingers with rubbing alcohol in between colours. I found this out the hard way after using green then white lol. Cleans off surfaces well enough too, again just recommend rubbing alcohol for easy clean up. I had a little trouble with baking but figured it out. Instructions say 120-130°F for 15-30 min. My oven doesn't go lower than 170, so I did that and my piece took about 45 min or so, and is still slightly pliable in spots. My next set I followed guidelines online, and baked them at 275°F for about 20 min and they are perfectly cured. Overall, definately a good starter kit to play around with. Good to make magnets or charms. They mix well, mold well and bake nicely.

I love it. It is meant for small projects like earrings and such, the size of the clay seems small at first but it’s actually a lot if you are doing it just for fun. Very easy to handle, I baked for 25mins came out great.
