E-BOGU Polypropylene Wing Chun Black Sword Set of 2 (18")

I'm a university professor who also teaches Wing Chun for a school club. The University Police are not willing to let us bring metal blades for training, so these are a wonderful substitute. They are well balanced, and handle very much like the metal blades. The material is quite tough, so we can have the blades clash, or use them to deal with a staff, etc., without worrying about breaking them.I'm quite happy with them, and having been an instructor for the past eight years, I'm glad to have finally found a way around the university's ban on metal blades other than having the club meet off campus.

These are excellent training butterfly knives.

My 14 year old needed a weapon for her Tae Kwon Do class. I didn't want to buy real, metal swords (obviously) for her so these worked out great. They are very sturdy and light and were perfect for her class.

Most of the weight is more centered on the blade giving the swings a good flow and the design is gorgeous with the clouds being on the blade and durability, I tried striking them together they do hold well and so does the guard

These butterfly swords are great for training. I wish the hook was longer and the handle was flat on one side so I can keep those close together. Other than my wishes, good to train with in a safe manner.

I'm very familiar with propylene weapons, usual minor issues are weight distribution and proper dimensions for handling and sparring, these are pretty much on the spot compared to real butterfly Daos, light but forward weighted and the grip and handguard feels sturdy, I'd probably prefer something a bit more flexible so it'd be harder to break (They haven't, they're just rigid) but overall a great product

These are great for practice, they have the durability necessary to last for years. And they look amazing to boot. Great value for the price.
