My 5 year old son loves this game. It's easy enough that he can pick up and play on his own, but there's hidden collectibles that are engaging to find if you're an adult.Quick summaryThe game is broken up into worlds. Each world has levels to complete. These levels can be tackled in any order and only a few need to be completed to move on.The levels are fairly unique. The general gameplay loop is similar, but they do a good job making each level feel like its own thing.There is a boss that must be beaten for each world.There are cosmetics to buy from coins(I think it was coins) you collect. It's a nice addition and kept my kid excited.There are puzzle side quests. These I feel can be challenging considering the audience. That being said, after explaining a few concepts to my kid he figured out the solution to quite a few of them. So maybe just gently guide your child through some. Or do them all yourself.Side note: even though this is a PS4 game it can be played on a PS5 without any special settings or changes.If you are looking for a game for your kid to play that let's them practice moving a third person camera and 3D platforming then this is it.

My kids love this game, 6 years and 8. To compare interest they really like Lego video games and plants vrs zombies.
