TELESIN 360° Quick-Release Backpack Strap Mount for Action Cameras

This product was great. I would recommend the 360 version over the upgraded version (but that depends on your personal needs). I recently took it on a trip and it worked great, paired this with a telescoping selfie stick really allowed me to keep a small form factor and hands free when walking, then easily switch to my selfie stick when I needed it, easy to attach to most standard backpack straps, and the space from ball joint allowed me to check my shot while walking so I didn't have to use the GoPro app all the time. Now it does take a bit of strength to slide the mount out of the holster, but that is good it means that it is well made, at times I had to make sure the locking mechanism caught properly, but your action cam is secure once it is locked in. Overall I would recommend buying if you are going backpacking, traveling, and etc. and plan on taking your action camera to capture video or photos Now I will disclose one thing that happened to me that is no fault of the manufacturer and it was strictly user error, but a note to other users/ customers. The pictures in the review are what can happen to this accessory when you carelessly rest it somewhere, or if someone accidentally sits on it at a bad angle which is what happened to me. The first two pictures are when my incident happened the locking mechanism cracked and the last picture is when it finally broke. Fortunately, for me I was near the end of my trip so I just attached my GoPro to my selfie stick and it was fine and again USER ERROR.

The backpack mount fits snug and seems to be robust out out of the package. I am using it with a Mammut Trion 38, however it also fits down to my 20l Edelrid multipitch backpack with smaller shoulder straps. I don’t see this sliding around anywhere while hiking. I will probably use this in other situations where I can attach the mount, making it quite versatile. Love the 360 feature that many other brands lack. Fast shipping and affordable.

I bought this for use with my GoPro and Insta350 One X2. Fit both devices well. I was concerned about clearance for the GoPro housing one I opened it. It clears perfectly and there's plenty of room for tilting the camera where you need it. I bounced up and down and it held the heavier GoPro in place well. One particular thing I like about the design is the monopod mount on the bottom! It is my FAVORITE feature of this and sets this one apart from others. I keep a small monopod attached (also opens into small tripod), and I have quick access to the camera for various handheld functions. Did I mention how much I liked that feature??? I'm not one for 5-star reviews, however I would give this a 5-star. I'm a bit concerned, however, about the quality of plastic used. It seems a bit brittle. I wonder how it will hold up to abuse. The thumbscrew on the GoPro mount is difficult to thread and perhaps the part with the worst quality. I'll probably replace that with a fancy anodized aluminum thumbscrew like my other mounts. All-in-all, if you're traveling, or want to get some cool POV content, this mount is a MUST HAVE. I wish I'd have bought one of these with my first GoPro back in 2009!

I’ve got the Telesin backpack mount for my GoPro 12 attached to my backpacking rig, and so far, I’m really happy with it. The strap feels solid and secure once it’s attached to the backpack and it doesn’t slip around like I expected it might. I really like the quick connect and dual mounting system because it lets me easily disconnect the camera and go handheld without having to swap mounts or adjust anything. The 360 head is also great because it lets me adjust the camera angle quickly on the fly, which is perfect when I’m switching between walking, hiking, or biking. I do feel like it will wear out over time but so far so good. It does take a bit of adjusting at first to get the camera positioned exactly where you want it and to make sure the angle isn’t cutting off part of the frame, but once you dial it in it works really well. Overall, it seems like it’s a sturdy and convenient mount that makes capturing hands free footage a lot easier, and the quick connect makes transitioning to handheld shots super simple. I’d recommend it to anyone using a GoPro for outdoor activities.

I should pack extras of these and sell them on the trail. I’ve literally had multiple people a day stop and ask me where I got this mount. I’ve tried other pack mounts but this is the one I use on all packs and have taken it with me many, many hundreds of miles hiking and skiing. Works awesome.

Ordered this mount to have for my Peru trip and I must say. 100% happy with this. if and when I need another I will order this again

Don't waste your time or money with this horrible product and inexcusable customer service. Trust the photos showing that this item breaks easily, mainly with the clipping portion. It is extremely cheap plastic and I wish I bought this when there were more reviews to know that this would break after 3 simple uses. I've reached out to their customer services and it's horrible, saying to go buy alternatives that will be "$100"; funny enough I've actually already bought a better quality replacement this week from another seller here on amazon for the same price that isn't cheap plastic & has better features. The only redeeming quality is the screw because you can actually use that after this garbage breaks. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra minute searching for similar items on amazon and I promise you that you will find way better alternatives for similar, if not the same exact price. How the reviews that have photos of the item broken rated this item 4 and 5 stars is beyond me, but the photos are definitely accurate and will likely break after a couple uses with you too if you unfortunately decide to buy this item.

I loved how it worked. The adjustable base let's you angle the camera correctly regardless how the fabric part is strapped down. Problem is the 2nd mount point designed to keep your stick attacked broke off. Luckily in my hand, but now I could only use it for the camera (one if the spring parts is cracked too. Great design, unfortunately inferior quality. The "improved design" eliminates the swivel entirely which would make it useless to me without adding an additional part and is the plastic any better?

Great product. Used it on DJI action 3 with a regular backpack. There is a lockable swivel that helps with making finer adjustments

I just lost / had this excellent and most versatile grip mount and boy do I miss it already. It held on to pant belts, backpack and shoulder harnesses, even windshield wipers up to 65mph / 110 kmh. The swivel ball joint mechanisms are powerful and durable and I will happily buy this Telesin product again. It's abit on the 'bulky' side and you will be noticed wearing this front facing on a belt or harness but the strength and flexibility well outweigh the slightly beefy look.

Able to use on a sling backpack because I can rotate the camera level, nice to have both hands free when filming, will be using in the Dominican Republic on a jungle hike. Very sturdy, wish I had on a fishing trip last year in the Azores.
