Harry Potter Playset - Ollivanders Shop, Multi, 49997

Slightly disappointing, bought for my 9 year old who is Harry Potter mad. Out of all the mini sets we have bought, this is the only one where the characters don't even fit. I don't understand why there is a balcony clearly positioned for a character to stand on, and also a desk for a character to stand behind.... for neither character to fit. They can't even hook onto the moving ladder so it all seems a bit pointless because you can't actually play with the shop itself with figures? We paid full price for this but I probably wouldn't even pay the tenner its on offer for. Good if your kid doesn't mind just having them on show but pointless if it's playing in mind.

I guess for any kids who are Harry Potter fans, they'd no doubt love this. My kids seemed happy when he got this for his birthday. However, as the parent... it's just a bit boring. The figurines are tiny, and the castle itself doesn't really do much. Literally like 3 or 4 things move - that's about it. For the money, you could go get a Harry Potter Lego set or something equivalent.

Thought I had bagged a bargain here but didn't clock the size and was very disappointed it was so small and the accessories so tiny. Ho hum... the granddaughters liked it regardless.
