SAMSUNG 9653285 OEM Original Part: DA81-05883A A/S-CASE WATER FILTE

After a few years of our Samsung fridge’s ice maker and water dispenser not working (Model: RF4287HARS) I finally tracked down this part and a touch screen replacement. Changed out both parts and now we have flowing water! Make sure to reassemble the entire fridge including the door legs that at the top which lets the fridge know it’s closed in order for the dispenser to work. Also we have to run 3 gallons of water when we put the new filter in. After that everything worked like a charm! Perfect!

I installed this into double french door samsung refrigerator that was not dispensing water. Once installed, water started flowing but had two problems. 1. Water was cloudy even after dispensing about 3 gallons of water. 2. Water flow wouldn't stop for 2 more seconds after letting the switch go. Root cause was the water pipe didn't fit existing coupler at the top of the fridge. And I am guessing air was moving into the pipe through that causing air bubbles in the water. Ordered same parts from another vendor with the coupler and everything worked well. So if you are buying this item, make sure to order a coupler as well.

Easy to install, works great!

This works for my Samsung refrigerator RF4287HARS. It costs $109.30 when I bought it but currently it costs $107.73.It seems expensive and is but would probably cost $300 to have someone come in to fix it for you.The hardest part of installing this was finding out where the white tube that goes to the top of the refrigerator goes.It snakes from the back top side to the front left of the refrigerator so you have to unscrew the top of the refrigerator to find it.It would have been nice if there had been instructions. A job that takes an hour turned out to be several hours just because of this one thing.I had my very expensive refrigerator fail only after 2 1/2 years because of this part. So I installed a separate filter prior to the water getting into the fridge because any tiny particle that gets into this part will cause it to fail. The filter that is inside your fridge only filters drinking water once it gets through this part (which makes no sense to me but because of this flaw in design, this most expensive part will fail if you don't pre-filter the water before it gets into the fridge.

Worked great. Fixed the leak. Even included the 5/16” to 1/4” plastic pipe adapter used above the fridge door

Works as expected. Filter connection in the old one had worn down and wouldn't allow water to properly flow. Took about 2 hours to replace.

This fit my Samsung model RF4287HARS. Watching youtube videos on how to do the install it wasn't as bad as I thought. It took about two hours to pull the old part and replace the new with all the water lines hooked up. Most importantly water is flowing better than it has in a couple years.
