GG Grand General 92575 6 Inches Long Black Coated Steel Gear Shift Extension

Likes, very well made, great finish. Dislikes, the lack of useful information in the product discription. Worse yet the lack of useful information in product reviews and answers to shoppers questions. Here's the run down. Overal length 6". Unthreaded shaft is 3/4" Diameter, 4 3/4" long, then tapers down to the threads. Overal extension is 5" not 6". 1/2"-13 course threads both ends male & female. There is an aprox 45 degree taper from the outside diameter down to the threads.Then there is my favorite question, "What will it fit? This is only limited to your imagination, mechanical abilities and tools availabe. Mine is going on a Chevy HHR but it is going to require modifications. Overal I would highly recommend this product if it fits your application or if you have the talent to make it fit.

It looks ok but didn’t like to overall fit but it sure made a difference with in my in my opinion but wish I would got a longer one.

Used to extend my b&m floor shifter in my truck did the trick

I thought the 6" inches wouldn't be too short but is great no more need to reach for the shifter and it doesn't interfere with the controls

Installed in a KW T880 in under 5 minutes. Only needed a T20, a 3/4" wrench, and a flathead. Airlines were loose enough to just tug a few inches up through the floor without needing to extend them.

The feeling after installing this 6” extension is awesome. Gliding between gears is 10x smoother!

Got this for comfort in my Freightliner easy install had to add a small airline extension which caught me off guard solid but for some reason it rattled the knob like a son of a gun had to constantly play with the the screws to get the vibration from the tranny when coming up from low rpm but very happy with the product and the rattle is gone now.

Garbage metal

Shipping was fast, 6 inch extension works perfect in my western star with an 18 speed. Needed to extend the 5/32 airlines. Well worth it.

Good quality heavy steel good threads. Showed up with some surface rust must have been in warehouse for a while
