The cow hide was pretty close to the description and color on Amazon. I really like it and it looks great. I did have to pay duty which I had not anticipated.

I have purchased several cow hide rugs off Amazon over the past years. The one I bought several months ago with some gold accents on it was crap. I was so disappointed. Needless to say I did my homework when I ordered two new ones for my wedding venue. The hides came separately and I could tell immediately by the weight of the box, these were going to work. They are absolutely stunning. Rich colors and a nice weight to them. Nothing that is going to curl up on the edges. Five stars!

Absolutely beautiful. I purchased mine to either go onto an existing carpet or onto a tile floor. I was worried that it would slide too much on the tile; it doesn't. This is a great quality hide and treated very well. The smell is very pleasant; that of freshly shampooed hair which I believe that's what they did prior to packaging and shipping. They cleaned the hide. I just ordered another one in a different color because of the quality.

I just received my cowhide today. It seems like a great quality rug. I was surprised that the size was accurate which is nice. The only thing I’m a bit disappointed about is that I expected a tri-color. The rug is mainly brown and white. I was hoping for more black as well. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.
