Had to reuse old gasket.
1984 Johnson 35hpThe gasket on the pulse side of the pump where it attaches to the crankcase had holes that were too small for the bolts that attach it to the block. I'm sure the gasket that comes with it could be reamed out and made to work but I just used the old one. The pump appears to function normally but time will tell. Considering new pumps are nearly 100 dollars if this works well I may just buy another one to keep in my tackle box if this one fails.

Leaks leaks and more leaks
I ordered this a few weeks ago and finally got around to installing and had several issues. The brass fitting on the bottom leaks even tho it’s tight. Fuel was leaking out of the suction side where that flat head screw goes. I wish I would’ve installed a little sooner so I wouldn’t have missed the return window.
