ponniyin selvan- whirlwinds- part 2

I belong to the reader's lot of yore which had first read Harry Potter series and then went to see the movie. I mentioned Harry Potter because once it had the same cult following and craze like we have for PS now. Lecture and movies are 2 separate experiences. So I prefer to read first and then see the movie.This is a very well translated book by Ms. Pavithra Srinivasan. I did not find a single typo except in the 5th volume which is not translated by her.The remaining 3 volumes I had ordered directly from the www.zerodegreepublishing.comVolume 3, 4 ,5 are also translated by MsPavithra although 5th only a part of it. The remaining 3/4th of 5th volume done by some other translator is not upto the mark. It lacked the quality of lucidity of the work of Ms. Pavithra.Although, it made a good read because after reading 4 volumes how can you just leave the 5th one but to tell it frankly, the climax was not written justifiably. You feel like after eating 5 course dinner, the dessert round had only Payyassam 😋 So....Anyways, the review is of the translator, because book is a Classic. Print quality and paper quality is good.And in conclusion, I must say that after finishing whole series, I have started re-reading it. This is the power of Ponniyin Selvan. 😀

The cover quality doesn't match the other 4 books, it is weaker. I'm having doubts over it being legally printed .

book does not feel original, felt like a printed copy instead.would recommend buying from original publishers- Zero Degree Publishing, than amazonpaper quality is not good

The pages were coming out, the binding was not proper, I returned the item and asked for a replacement
