ScotchExpressions Tape, .59 in x 393 in, Blurred Lines, 6 Rolls (C314-P37)

I thought I was getting a really good deal at 6 rolls/pack for $10. It still is a good deal, but the color is not as gold as I thought it would be (from looking from the pictures) - which is part of the risk of buying things from the Internet. So now I have lots of khaki based washi. I have more vibrant washi colors so it makes it hard to combine, but I have used this as a base for some washi and have washi'd over this washi leaving peek-a-boo strips (washi'ing over washi is kind of redundant). I'll find other uses for it and have used this in lieu of regular, clear Scotch tape for packages and posters and such.Also, this doesn't feel like typical washi, it has a Scotch tape feel and texture to it, which means it isn't as forgiving or re-positionable like other types of washi. Think colored Scotch tape - when you use regular Scotch tape and have to re-position it, it normally brings some of the paper or cardboard with it. Decorative paper tape is usually re-positionable, which is what I think of when I tihink of washi.If the color was more true to gold, I would have given it another star.

First, I love that this comes as an individually packaged roll. I have been giving a lot of little stationery gifts out to friends and this makes them look a little more finished than some of the other washi tape that comes without any wrapping.In my opinion, this is one of Scotch's best patterns. It is bright and colorful. It might be good for a teacher or someone who works with small children. The entire alphabet is several inches long. (I wrote down the measurement but left it in my planner, I will udpate that part a little later.)The adhesive on this brand of washi tape is very good. I have never had any issues with peeling or residue. It removes from the roll easily and adheres quickly. I have found no issues on any surface so far that I have tried.Finally, the texture of this washi is somewhat different than other brands I have used. It is hard to explain but it is a little more like traditional masking tape in feel. That isn't a problem for me but if you are used to some of the other brands that are glossy and paper-like, then you will notice this difference.

The title says it all. I’m so surprised as every other roll I’ve purchased from Scotch “Expressions” has been the ideal of high quality. I’m hoping this color was a fluke-dud. I won’t be purchasing this product again, but I’ve gone through dozens and dozens of other colored rolls.

I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately when I tried to peel off a strip of tape to actually use it, it was stuck to itself with gluey residue and kept tearing when I tried to get a large strip. It was so bad that I couldn't even get a whole inch of complete tape, making it useless for my craft project.

The listing says this is for 6 rolls. I received one in the mail, so I paid $21 for one tiny roll of tape....

The picture makes it look huge, like the size of packing tape, but it's tiny. Tiny like the size of a quarter and the inside is hollow so imagine 8 yard sticks, that how much tape you get. And it's 3/4 of an inch wide.Seems fun for kids but not much other utility otherwise.

I bought this and per the picture it should be a bright yellow. It came today and is a Mac and cheese orange color, not bright yellow. Disappointed is an understatement.

This tape was terrible....it would hardly unroll, except in tiny shreds! It was as if the glue of the tape would not release from itself. A lot was wasted, as I had to keep cutting through several layers, and even then it would shred. I have used washi tape before, and it was not like this one. Perhaps the product was mishandled in a hot environment?!

It's pretty, but very poor adhesive. Wouldn't order again.

Loved it for my crafts looks beautiful.
