But unfortunately I could not get it to work. I had trouble getting it to the point I wanted, which was constant display of time and temperature only on a 12 hour cycle. I'm sure much of the problem was myself, but I called and chatted with someone who helped me, but the clock kept going into power saving mode and I could not get it to come back on. I had it going for 2 days at the most and then it would shut down. I'm sorry I had to return it, because it was perfect for what I needed. Maybe I just got a defective one, but being older and not the most tech saavy, I had to return it.

I put this clock in my guest bedroom. It goes well with the black Asian furniture.

Not a clock for someone who needs accurate time. But works well for this retiree

The cord is waaay to short. Even if you have an outlet directly where your nightstand is, there's still a chance the cord is too short and won't reach. I get that it can also run on batteries but still. There is no excuse for such a short cord.This clock is also way too bright. Even the dimmest mode could light up the night sky! (No need for a night light!) One perk is the night mode but you have to really HIT it to get it to wake up.

Clock lights went out 4 montha after purchase, cant plug in because when you do it completely stops working, so have to use batteriws and it eats up batteriea like crazy

Overly complex — takes a long series of button presses just to get to setting the alarm and other functions.Dumb - beeps every time you press a button. No more setting the alarm after you bed partner is asleep. Wakes them right up!Returned this one.

I've seen a number of these wooden clocks in the past and I've always wanted one, so when this item became available in black I knew I had to have it for the desk in my office. When I received it, it was actually a guessing game as to which side would have the display until it was plugged in... the LED's are completely hidden within the surface of the clock.This clock uses a USB power cable, so I was easily able to plug it into a port in my surge protector (which includes a number of standard USB power ports.) The clock does not include a USB power adapter, just the power cable. The clock also can run independently using 4 AAA batteries. The clock also contains a small battery that's used to provide power to maintain the time and settings during a power outage, but does NOT keep the clock functional during such an outage. I'm not going to repeat the rest of the manufacturer's description of the product; instead I'll say that the description of the features is accurate.I really like this clock... the black wooden finish looks and feels contemporary and stylish. The adjustable white LED numbers are easily visible when the brightness level is set to high. I'm quite happy with the product, and for anyone looking for a similar product, my experience with the product has been entirely positive.

This Wooden Alarm Desk Clock from JTJS is packed well in a simple cardboard box, and within the box is the Clock, USB Power Cord, and an Instruction Manual. The Clock feels solid, and all of the controls for the clock are on the rear. There are 3 Alarm settings, 12/24 hour time, thermometer, a sleep function for the display, can be powered by USB or 4 AAA batteries, etc.This Wood Block Clock looks good, it has an interesting Black/Grey color look to it, and the digital display is a bit of an off-white color. The instructions are written well and easy to follow. There are only 3 buttons on the rear for operating the clock, however the instructions explain everything and I had no problems accessing the features of this clock after reading the instructions. The manual is thorough and covers all the options in the clock.Setting up the clock does not involve much, to power the clock you can either provide power through the provided USB power cord, or install 4 AAA batteries. Setting the time and other settings on this clock is not too straight-forward, as there are only 3 buttons on the rear of the clock. It’s best to keep that manual nearby, as you’ll need it. I do wish more buttons were included on the rear of this clock, as there is room for them, and would have made adjusting settings a lot easier.There are 3 different levels of brightness for the clock, and also a neat, “Sleep” function for the display, that will respond to sound over 60dB, or when the clock itself is lightly tapped. What happens is, after the display being lit for 10 seconds, it will turn itself off. To view the display again, just provide sound over 60dB, or tap the clock.The display can show in 12 or 24 hour time, the thermometer in C or F. I find the thermometer to be pretty accurate, I had this clock sitting nearby a known accurate thermometer, and this clock was accurate +/-1 F. The barometer. The hygrometer on the clock, though, that is fairly inaccurate. I found that to be -7% of actual readings from a known accurate hygrometer. So, don’t rely on this clock to accurately read the humidity in a room.There are 3 unique alarm settings for this clock, however I am not planning to use this as an alarm clock, so I didn’t mess with the alarm settings much. For me it would be too cumbersome to use this as an alarm clock since all the buttons are on the rear of the clock, and there are only 3 buttons. I am using this clock to display the Time and Temperature in a room. Since this clock can function on only battery power, I have it placed on a bookcase in a room and it works just fine there for providing me with the time.This clock works well and looks decent for what it is, however it is a bit of work to adjust certain settings since it only has 3 buttons and the humidity reading is way off. Still, the clock looks good where I have it, and provides me the time and temperature.
