I got this for my dad who loves grilling. I can’t wait for him to try more recipes out of this every single one that he has done has been fantastic!

The recipes in here are amazing. Best part of the book is that they include how to make all sauces, mops and rubs that are needed. No need to purchase sauces or rubs

It covers everything it said it would and then some

I am fairly new to the smoking game but I watch Melissa on TV and figure that if I want some good tips I should get them from some of the people that know just what is the right way to do it. I started with a charcoal smoker but it was kind of hard to keep an even temp. I then went to a propane smoker which was a lot better to control the temp. I now am looking into a electric pellet smoker and I really enjoy the tips and information that Melissa has in her book to ensure that I do things the right way. Love the book.

Was expecting more competition stuff and more things Bbq! I could care less for most of the recipes but overall good book for beginners.

Andrews McMeel is my favorite cookbook publisher to review for and this cookbook is a prime example of why. BTW...I am reviewing this book through Netgalley for an honest review...10/5 Stars!Er. Mer. Gawd. Where do I start? My mouth started watering at page one and I had visible drool by the end. I seriously don't think there is one recipe I wouldn't make in this book. In fact, I see this book becoming a regular in our menu planning. While pictures weren't given for every recipe, the ones that were included were just plain GORGEOUS! Her tips were practical advice that were actually usable.This book is worth every penny. In fact, normally once I review I move on. I might make a recipe or two, but my MO is to move on after identifying what I look for in a cookbook. With this book, I loved it so much, I even purchased a copy for myself and a family member.

Really good book. Not just recipes but some great behind the scenes stories too. Melissa writes beautifully and the food is out of this world.
