Saved me from buying a new microwave
Wife was asking to buy a new expensive microwave just because the turntable stopped working. This was a plug and play part that looked compatible for my model. Easy to install and has been working perfectly the past several months.

Perfect fit and specifications for a replacement motor for my LG microwave.
The motor arrived quickly and was an exact replacement for my LG turntable motor. Everything lined up perfectly, mounting screws and wiring harness. The shaft design was slightly different but fit exactly. My one concern was that it did not seem to be exactly perpendicular to the body of the motor. Don't know if this is by design or a defect. I will report back when it has been running for a significant enough amount of time to speak to its longevity. Don't know whether this was a rebuilt motor or new as the listing does not specify. As others here have said this is an incredibly simple fix and quite expensive if done by a repair person. MAKE SURE TO UNPLUG YOUR MICROWAVE FIRST!Btw, if you have an LG microwave with an ExtendaVent, there are four screws on the outermost edge on each side underneath the microwave. These are the ONLY ones that need to be removed. DON"T remove the screws for the lights further in - unnecessary. Also, put a tall box on your stove to lower the ExtendaVent onto. Make sure it is within a few inches of the bottom of the ExtendaVent. You do not want to risk ripping out the wiring harness. You will have to pull the ExtendaVent out slightly towards you after the screws are removed. There is only one cable harness that is easily unclipped that you will have to remove to gain access to the motor. The cable ends are keyed so it is easily reconnected. Just tilt the left side of the ExtendaVent down while you unclip it. An extra set of hands is helpful for this maneuver but you can manage it yourself if need be. Then just lay the vent to the side and replace the motor. Easier than it sounds. Don't forget to plug the microwave back in after reassembly.

Simple repair
Very easy repair. My turntable was intermittently operating on Samsung micro-hood. Unplugged the unit, undid the outer screws on the base of the microwave. Flipped down the bottom panel and removed one screw holding the motor in place. Pulled out the motor and the plate spinner, undid the wire connection and installed the new one. Buttoned everything back up and we're spinning again! I did notice a lot of grease on my spade connector from the old motor, likely causing a poor connection with the electrical wiring. For how inexpensive the part was I can't complain.

Bad motor did not last 3 weeks..
This is my 5-6th one probably all from the same manufacturer on Amazon. No issues with ones in the past and they all lived about a year or less. Installed a new one this time and it now intermittently works after 2 weeks. Extremely creeky and noisy too. First time.. deteorated quality. Will find another seller next time

Works in my LG Over the range microwave
It’s quite easy to install once you drop the bottom of the microwave. Mode had 8 short screws. You’ll probably want two people. One to unscrew, one to hold the bottom part. Disconnect the light, and the bottom can be taken away to be cleaned with hot soapy water… outside in a baby pool or something. Ours was disgusting.Back to the motor… a quick two small screws out and disconnect the plug and viola, the old motor is out. Stick the new motor back the same way, two screws in, and push the little plastic piece in from above and you are done with the motor.Cleaning and attaching the bottom is straightforward as well. Took us about an hour total with cleaning the greasy gunk from the bottom. Very satisfying though.Good luck!
