Got it for my mom. The quality is quite sturdy! I was expecting more flimsy cheaper material but it actually feels like a $40 proper material. It looks good in person as well. Also comes with a second lid! Which was a good surprise because I don't recall reading it in the product description. It's quite a big size. Perfect size for families. Maybe big for a single person. Mom likes the initial unboxing. Let's hope it gives her a good run in the future.

Oh wow!!l These are terrific!! I recently bought a 2nd one for my spice cabinet.....you know, that one where you store zillions of small bottles of herbs and spices, mixtures and whatnot that you simply cannot cook without!? My first one I bought several years ago......after looking at all of the possible choices, I liked this version. Its sturdy, washable, spices fit nicely inside, comes with smallish spoons to help mete out portions. I thought it looked great and would keep things organized....it would allow me to get rid of some messy little bottles and cut down on space. Very happy with that purchase!!! So much so that I got another one!! Now I have one for my "hot" spices....like chilies, turmeric, curry....all the fun stuff! And the second one is for herbs and cool spices. Again, got rid of some little bottles and now these two stack on top of each other on the shelf!! Wow!!! More shelf space and looks great!! Sooooo.......now I think I need another one for my baking spices!!!Highly recommended!! You need this....makes cooking easier when all your spices are in one container that is easy to pull down off the shelf! No spilling of little bottles, easy to keep clean, nice window to see when spices get low and you need to replenish!! Personally, I don't worry about scratches, fingerprints or any of the other complaints folks seem to have about these things.....my older one still looks great!! In fact I can't tell now which one is the old one and which is the new one!! Heavy use durability....at a reasonable price!! Where else can you get something so nice looking that organizes your spice cabinet for under $30USD???!!! This is money well spent!!

LOVE it! Sturdy, shiny stainless steel. Lid fits securely and seems to be glass - if it's plastic, it's clear and hard. It came covered with a disc of plastic cling-film to protect during shipping, which is easily peeled off. Containers can hold about half a cup and each comes with its own spoon. The spoons hold about a half teaspoon when filled to heaping. It's a great organizer/space-saver. It's convenient - the ultimate mise en place - and so fun to use! When filled with the rich, earthy colors of turmeric, chili, coriander, cumin, mustard seeds, garam masala, and fennel, the dabba is an artist's palette, and the pan is my canvas. I know spices and dried herbs last longer when kept out of the light, but it's so inspiring to look at, I can't bear to put it away. (Can you tell this is my first dabba masala? This is the first of many more.)

I was scared to order one because of all the negative reviews. There are also a lot of different sellers for these types of Dabbas so was really undecided which on which one to order.Finally, came across this seller and dabba and really happy with what I received. The item was exactly as I had expected and looks amazing.
