These are pretty cool if you are familiar with wet felting. Pretty easy instructions but adult help is needed at first to show how it works. I am not sure why this is getting such bad reviews. I do think they need to re-think how the neck, arms and legs can be a bit sturdier. Next time I think I would build it up with a small amount of plain felt (which is pretty cheap). It really isn't all that hard, but with that being said it is for an older child. Our daughter is almost 9 and is very crafty and loves to slop with water, so it was perfect for her. It isn't super durable but it is a pretty neat craft. I would recommend it.

I got this product despite the large number of negative reviews, also because my little daughter urged me to get it. It is relatively inexpensive, so there was little risk in the purchase. The preparation process is simple enough: put fluffy stuff a mould, put a solution of dishwasher soap on it and wash in the laundromat and put it in the dryer. While that sounds simple, it is actually pretty labor intensive and requires 2 passes in the laundromat essentially without any clothes or other things in it, closing the mould requires some strength so a child is not likely to do this on their own.The cat came out about as on the picture and has held together so far, so from that point it is an ok product, the work, time and wasteful laundromat usage does not necessarily make this a recommended product

Get ready to do some laundry once you've finished the molding process! It was fun to do with my daughter. And waiting for the big reveal was fun too!

I usually do not write reviews, however I felt that this product is just awful and needs to be shared before anyone else buys this. I bought 2 for my granddaughters 6 and 8 year old. They both saw it on TV ads showing how much fun it is to do and they were so excited. I sat down with them to do this project, however, the only part of this that any child at any age could do, is spraying the fluff and putting it in the mold. The entire table was soaking wet including the kids. But that wasn't the end of it. After hours of washing and drying, finally we completed it (I had to unclip everything. It was even too hard for me to do) and the end product is a big nothing. The kids can barely hold it since it is so flimsy. The kids both said this was the worst ever project that they did. Do not waste your money on this.

These are so fun to make! My 11 year old made it without much help from me (other than closing the clips after she was done and washing/drying it. Holds together fairly well. You wouldn’t be able to be rough with these. But super fun and cute!

Cute, well-advertised product. However, when my granddaughter made this, it took TONS of help from her mom. The head fell off and they had to try to keep it on with other methods. I wouldn't have bought it except my grandkids really wanted to try. Don't waste your money.

Nice concept but difficult to put together. Didn't turn out as fluffy as the photo on the box. Disappointing for my granddaughter who loves doing crafts.

My granddaughter put a lot of loving attention into following directions and got a very nice, lovable (to her) finished product.
