ProTech62-24268-03 Integrated Furnace Control Board

Perfect transaction. Ordered late 3/11. Arrived mid-day 3/14 via FEDEX.Ttl cost $125.39 to my door. Easy install. Highly recommend!My local HVAC wanted $600 for the board alone. The world is full of pirates.

After 22 years there was some component on the original control board became temperature sensitive and was failing in the cold.After some troubleshooting I determined that the easiest fix was to just simply replace the whole control board.I ordered this one and it came quickly.It was a simple ten minute job to disconnect the original board and install this one - all the connections were in the same place.It powered up fine and is working great!The original board was a -01 version and this replacement is a -03 version with a few obvious design changes but it works identically.

It was used but worked perfect.

Good Quality easy to mount

So, our downstairs AC just stopped.We called an AC guy to come out and fix it. He told us that the control board was bad and that the part could cost up to $700 (and it might take 2 weeks to get it). Installation would be between $400 and $500 dollars. He charged us $60 to tell us what was wrong (with the understanding that if he came back to fix it, he would deduct that $60 from the total charge). We paid him the $60.We took a picture of the control board and started to research the internet for the board. We found it here, and before buying it, we looked at You Tube videos on how to install it. In the meantime, I texted the AC guy and told him we found the board. He said he would install it for $200 (I didn’t ask if he would deduct the $60 we’d already paid him).The videos on You Tube we super helpful. It was basically a “plug and play.” My husband pulled out a plug from the old unit and plugged it into the same place in the new unit. We turned on the air and blissful cool air flowed from the vent.We bought a total of 3 of these boards (so we would have 2 spares). The total amount we spent was less than $400 for the 3 boards. We saved at least $700 by figuring out how to do this ourselves.So YAY!

It was perfect replacement for my furnace motherboard. Took me 10 minutes to swap. Works as supposed to. Saved me a lot of money on HVAC service.

Great product. Fixed our problem and is still working just fine. Make sure you read the diagnostic chart on the cover of the furnace to see if the board is signaling that something other than the board is at fault. Can be tricky sometimes if the board is indeed at fault. I keep one of these on hand as they are very cheap and well worth the benefit of being able to replace it on the spot in the middle of a cold winter night.

Expected new part, box and antistatic bag had been previously opened. Part did not function correctly.
