Love Love this Bag!!
I have made so many of these. With the iron on interfacing and grids it is so easy to put together. This is a very large bag perfect for a big yard or quilting project.

Went together fast
After I ironed the squares onto the interfacing and sewed it together it got a little confusing. I had to watch a video several times to finish it. I would make another one if I needed another enormous bag, it was kind of fun.

Mondo bag grid and pattern kit
This is a good kit for making a first-time Mondo bag; first-time because you can keep the instructions and get 2.5 inch grid interfacing separately. This kit only includes instructions and the interfacing. The provided interfacing is marked and having the center alignment markings is critical. You provide your own fabric and fleece. Depending on how flexible or stable you want your bag to be you will need to purchase the fusible fleece for your preference. I chose one that allows the bag to stand so I can use it for storing yarns and knitting projects (WIP).

I'd read that the instructions were confusing so I did some research before buying, watching youtube videos and reading a few blogs. I figured after that I could get this bag constructed even with no instructions. It went together very nicely and was so fun to make I'm planning on making them for Christmas presents this year for family. Only flaw I found with the directions was they didn't tell you to do the lining as a mirror image of the outer bag so the corners would line up properly.

It was easy instructions to follow for a beginner like myself.
I love making this mondo bag. It was easy & it only took me a week to finish & thats with cutting & organizing the fabric onto the interfacing ( which is included in the kit), & sewing. My sewing group was impressed I did it, being a newbie to sewing.
