I like this book because I'm socially awkward and my parents are rude, alcoholic social outcasts, so this gives me some phrases that show me how to pretend to be normal and say things that aren't too blunt and are more productive. I bought it so I could speak better at work.

I got the managers phrase book too as I was looking to expand my business vocabulary.This book is outright terrible, lots of repeated phrases, overly American, uninspiring, no explanation to support the phrases.I'll be investing in a book about positive communication instead.Both books returned!
