LED Plant Light for Indoor Plants, New Generation Desk Grow Light with Timer, Grow Lamp Full Spectrum UV Grow Lights

This is my third light. The first and third came from this seller. My first light was great until about 30 days after I received it. It suddenly just stopped working and after every conceivable method of trouble shooting (mind you, nothing had changed that should have causing it to suddenly stop working), I gave up. I messaged the seller, but didn’t see any reply (they did, it just didn’t come through until later and I needed a new light ASAP), so I ordered the same product from a different seller. Well, that one didn’t work OUT OF THE BOX. I was super mad. I then saw this seller’s message offering to replace it immediately, easily, and without any added cost to myself, I figured I’d give it one last try. Well, I received my new light yesterday evening, and it works perfectly, so crisis averted! I have 4 different types of grow lights, and I’m happy with all of them now. Great customer service makes a big difference, and I’m glad that I reached out.

I snagged this while there was a $10 off coupon and definitely suited my need for a small desktop grow light (with better price and output than getting a fixture to mount the GE BR30 bulb in). We'll see in time if the supplemental light helps my aglaonema plants which were not getting much indirect light from my window.The only thing that is slightly confusing on this product (and seemingly all grow lights) is that it's a 30W equivalent, as the adapter's rating and the part number on the LED board indicate 10W of actual draw (5V 2A).I can't speak to the timer function since I prefer to have my light controlled by a smart relay - unfortunately the included cable defaults to off and does not remember the state on power loss but it's just a standard 1.35mm barrel jack which I had an alternative power source for. That said, I got this more to tinker with and integrate into my setup than to use as-is so I cannot fault it here. The length of the cable and included power adapter seemed to be adequate for most purposes.Big pro on this is that it's dimmable which I'm assuming is just reducing the input voltage since it's all DC, unlike the LED bulbs which almost always have an AC-DC transformer integrated. I'm currently just using a dedicated right angle plug wall transformer at full power on a timer and can adjust this setup in the future as needed. Overall a good, compact desk setup for growing plants that can be used as-is or modified as needed. Can fit a 6" and 4" pot with some decent positioning and doubles as the drip pan, protecting your surface/preventing mess. Seems sturdy enough to stand up on its own even without pots in the base but obviously does better with the added weight. Might be a little short for my use in the long run but one of the best starter light options by far.Couple minor cons that aren't worth docking a star at this price point:The mounting is a bit flimsy, it'd be nice to have a screw to secure the bottom but the plastic friction insert holds well enough with how light the LED panel is. I'd also have loved to have a right angle on the barrel jack if I were using the original cable - straight plugs put a lot more strain on that small jack and are harder to cable manage along the aluminum support. Having a slightly smarter controller in the cable which could remember settings after power loss would be ideal as well but with this competitive pricing, again a non-issue especially if you're willing and able to tinker with it.

Timer on/off USB did not work on original order. Requested a new USB or would return lamp. Seller said they'd send a new timer, but sent an entire new lamp. USB works great on this one. Would recommend this seller as they stand by their product.

Brighter then I expected but could use a little more height.Power cords could also be a foot longer but unlike other grow lights I have purchases recently, this one has the option to connect the light directly into a wall timer rather then using the included timer.The structure feels a little flimsy but it doesn't need to be really robust. It looks quite nice.One more suggestion to improve would be to allow chain connection of more than one light

Last year i was moved to a windowless office and my plants really suffered. I bought this grow light due to a strong recommendation for a youtube channel I really like. So far so good. Its been 9 months and my plants are much happier. I am not getting tremendous growth, but while before my plants were dying from lack of natural light, now they are staying healthy. My favorite part is probably the timer function. I have it set to go on when i leave the office and it stays on for 12 hours after I leave. Thinking of getting another to increase the number of plants in my office and improve my working environment.

I would have expected longer than 3 months of use. I noted 2 days ago that it seems dimmer, checked the setting at thought, eh, just me. Went to turn it off tonight and even UNPLUGGED it was flashing. I've paid less for longer-lasting lights.

Bought this plant light a year go. The brightness settings and timer functions were great. Best part is, with the timer function selected, it will automatically turn on each day at the same time you originally turned the light on - so if you turn it on at 8 am and set the timer for either 3,9, or 12 hrs, it will turn off after the set time and automatically turn back on the next day at 8 am with the timer. Even better, the plants I had under and around this light grew so well. It was placed in a windowless corner without any sunlight. All my plants thrived, even propagations. One day, I noticed the light wasn't on at the usual time. For about a week, it would turn on about an hour or more later than its usual time. After about a week, I manually turned the light on at the time I wanted, but the light started flickering. It will not stop unless I turn it off. For an LED light, I expected the light to last much longer. Because it was automatic, I never touched the light or remote, so there isn't any reason to believe this is user error. It was great while it lasted, but now I have to find another grow light to replace this.

I have this set up over succulents. It looks great. I have it set on the 12hr timer, so it's on for 12hrs and off for 12hrs and it's late by about 6mins every day, so it goes on and off a little later every day. It's easy enough to manage that. Overall great light for the price. It's in the living room so I like that it's white light and not purple.
