I have a genetic condition that predisposes me to dental issues and gum fragility despite having always been super careful with oral hygiene, and unfortunately I'm allergic to an ingredient in most gingivitis treatments. I had severe sensitivity and bleeding gums that got so bad that despite being in my 20s, I hadn't been able to eat anything cold or too sweet at all for a decade, and half my mouth was off-limits for chewing and even cold air hurt. Because of all this, I finally spent literally 30 or so hours researching every single obscure and mainstream brand of toothpaste I could find, which led to learning everything about the entire history of toothpaste and ingredient formulation, scientific journals, medical texts, etc etc. Please trust me when I say that this toothpaste stood head and shoulders above the rest, from a formulation standpoint. To my immense relief, after a few weeks, almost all of my dental pain is gone. I can finally eat normally now and my teeth are noticeably whiter and healthier than they've been in ages, and I feel like it's also helped finally get rid of a chronic sinus infection I had due to being antimicrobial. The packaging is easy to open and close and stays clean and is easy to squeeze, and it has a nice aesthetic. It stands upright on the lid which is a useful feature. The flavor is delightful if you like spearmint flavor gum or tea, and it leaves you feeling like you just had a professional cleaning, but without the pain or bleeding. I haven't had bleeding gums since the day I started using this, and it has been 100% worth the cost. It truly is an intelligent and intentional blend of ingredients that supports dental health from multiple angles, and there is plenty of burgeoning research to explain why it was so effective. There are others that share some of the attributes I was looking for, but this is the only one that combines all of them and lacks the ingredients I wanted to avoid. I bought 5 more to share with family and to have a backup on hand (despite me being a cheapskate!) because I can't imagine using anything else after finding this. If you have fragile gums, sensitive teeth, weak enamel, damage from reflux, etc, I can't recommend this enough. Just be mindful of the ingredients if you have any known herbal allergies or sensitivities, but I believe it to be a great option for most people and despite me being allergic to most chemicals used in products, I've had no negative reactions whatsoever. Never thought I'd love a toothpaste this much! It genuinely improved my quality of life.
