This is the best product of this type that I found. It offers great elbow protection. I'm using it for an old elbow injury where any slightest impact is very painful, and it works very well. It's relatively comfortable to wear. I have very sensitive skin and always feel a little uncomfortable for about 5 minutes after putting it on, but then I completely forget about it and can leave it on for the whole day. The seam at the front of the arm leaves a little mark on the skin, but it disappears almost immediately after taking it off. I like the fact that this item is machine-washable and tumble dryer-friendly. It is also the least bulky item I could find. Could it be better? Perhaps (seam-free would be nice), but there isn't anything better currently on the market.

I'm using this following an ulnar subluxation. My nerve is displaced and very sensitive. The padding on this sleeve is thick enough to help cushion the nerve when the inevitable bumps of my day occur. The sleeve is a slick fabric and slides under normal clothes easily, despite the padding - I can wear a long-sleeved T over it. It also keeps me a little warmer, which is great since it's freezing out! The padding feels really cool - the hexagons are not joined, so they move easily, and they have a texture that is fun to squeeze. I love that it came in a bright pink, too - if I'm going to have to deal with an injury, I might as well embrace it!
