Great Driving Glasses!
My glasses run about $500 a pair, and it seems like they get more expensive with each purchase. A good pair of sun glasses is really a necessity; especially after reading all the studies that link eye conditions like age related macular degeneration, cataracts and glaucoma with NOT protecting your eyes from UV light. It is also quite necessary for drives of any length if it is sunny outside. In the past I have purchased prescription sun glasses or transition glasses that change with the light into sun glasses. The prescription glasses are just as expensive (or more!) as my regular glasses. The transition lenses add even more expense to the cost of my glasses and are worthless for driving... They don't change if you are behind glass like a windshield! Transitional lenses also take quite a long time to transition back if the weather is cold.I bought these Over the Glasses (OTG) sun glasses as an attempted alternative to high cost and performance issues with prescription or transitional lenses. I really was not expecting much in the way of comfort with the OTG sunglasses... I expected them to be bulky, heavy, and that they would not stay put on my face. But they are not expensive, and I figured... Why not try them? What I found is a solution to my sunglasses needs that is in-expensive, works well, fits my face, is light weight, stays put, does not either feel or look bulky.... What's not to like! This is the perfect solution for everything except maybe strenuous sports (and I have not tried the OTG glasses in that capacity yet...). I HIGHLY recommend these Over the Glasses Sunglasses.A bit on ordering... Be sure to go to the company's web site to select what frames are compatible with your glasses. The company has quite a few types of frames to choose from, but you want to make sure that your glasses frame will fit inside the OTG frame. To aid in the fit, there is a download you can print out with all the frames they sell that is to scale. To make sure that the scale is right in your printing process, there is also a quarter sized circle on the first page of the print out; just put a quarter on the circle and it should just cover it. Now you just put your glasses, lenses down, over the shapes on the pages and if your glasses fits within a frame, then it is compatable with your glasses! Pretty simple. If you are looking for an alternative to the high cost of prescription sh glasses, this is it! Buy a pair!

Color is a little different while wearing them.
Be advised, This color is a little bit deceiving. Off your face, the color is, indeed, Olive Green (think Ray Ban Green/Gray Lens). On your face, however, it's a little different. Your face reflects light back through the frame, revealing more of a red/brown or flesh color, mostly around the clear part at the bottom of the lens (this is evident in some of the manufacturer's youtube video's on this model and color. I chose to believe the video labeled the color wrong...it didn't). All that being said, this color is as close to shiny black the manufacturer currently offers in this model, so I'm basically satisfied. They're still great sunglasses and fit well, too. Just be aware of what you're getting, here.

Do the job nicely
The present style for glasses is wide and narrow in the vertical dimension. These sunglasses fit over even the widest glasses frames I have. To that add "polarized" to avoid glare, and "amber" to improve vision in fog etc, and this is the ideal product for seeing well. I have these just for the car where my sun sensor glasses do not function owing to the fact that UV is blocked by the windshield and does not activate the photodarkening of the glasses. The straps on the ear pieces are sturdy and work well. I will use these fishing, since you can see much further below the surface with all of the horizontally polarized glare eliminated. It does seem counterintuitive putting on sunglasses in the fog, but I can actually see much further down the road. The slimmer nature of these give you less of a geezer-glasses look, but don't fool yourself...any coverall is going to brand you with that tag.

No sparkles
This is my second pair of Fitovers...which are fine glasses. I dropped my first pair and the lens fell out. I didn't realize it was missing until after I'd left the restaurant. So I ordered another pair...different style. The style I order said it had Swarovski Elements on the temple. It does not. It has the same plastic logo as the first pair. Had I known there were no Swarovski Elements on the temples, I would have ordered a different pair. It is unusual for me to be dissatisfied with a purchase from Amazon. I feel a little misled. Hopefully Amazon will make it right.

Fit well but too dark - except the Roadster which are fine for my use
I have two pair, the JETT and another model purchased at an eye doc's office a couple years ago. This particular pair fit over my glasses much better then the other pair and are supposed to have the same light transmittance percentage. They don't with the JETT being so dark that you actually lose important detail while driving so I usually wear the earlier pair. I will, of course, use these on very bright days as well as while there is snow on the ground but will need to get another pair for those cloudy but very bright days. This pair - probably 4 stars as noted while the others, a solid 5 starsUpdate and to a 5 star rating - just received the Roadster colored version and the third pair that I now own and for me they are the perfect driving and daily use sunglasses. The detail is not hidden in shade and the clarity is top notch. One caveat is that all may not like that the colors that you will see are not 'true' but somewhat modified by the amber lenses. It does take a little time for your brain to adjust. Additionally, that lens shading may not be enough in some very bright circumstances ... but in my case have another pair or two for those occasions. Clunky - a bit but lots better then clip ons with no side shields and LOT less expensive then prescription sunglasses, also with no side shielding

These glasses are wonderful for people wearing regular glasses
These glasses are wonderful for people wearing regular glasses. They go all the way round, blocking out all the sun andare very comfortable.
