I’ve been using these for soup portions to freeze and use later. The soup comes out easily and saves time so I don’t have to heat up more servings than I’d like.

I bought another brand but when I wanted to defrost one portion I could not remove it from the tray. I had to defrost all four portions and I ate as much as I could but had to discard the rest. These trays, sit out for a few minutes and one portion pops out and I returned the other portion to the freezer. The trays stack, take up less space and are easy to wash.

I love the portions of these trays, they are not as small as the others. They hold good amount of food to freeze and freeze well.I only wish they were suitable to hold liquid.

I tend to eat less than a regular portion size, so recipes that serve 6 or more generally end up going to waste. This has been very helpful in that when I cook a big pot of something, I can just put 6 - 1.5 cup servings in the freezer right away and take them out 2 at a time as I need them.The date feature is cute and handy, but nigh impossible for older eyes to discern. It's just as easy to write out the information (dish & date) on a piece of masking tape and affix it to the lid.
