I installed this in a 2005 jeep 4.0 that are known for throwing an engine code with off brand sensors. Installed easily with factory plugs and is functioning like it should. No check engine light! Great value for the money.

My 2006 Jeep Wrangler popped a P0153 code. After a bit of research on the Jeep Wrangler forums, I found many postings saying that the Jeep was somewhat sensitive to which brand of replacement O2 sensor. The NGK brand was highly recommended. I am the original owner and the Jeep has 150K miles. So this was the first time any of the O2 sensors were replaced. I also picked up the TEKTON 47749 3/8-Inch Drive by 7/8-Inch (22 mm) Offset Oxygen Sensor Socket, Amazon product number B00GMN4D1Q. The O2 sensor was in a tough spot, this socket helped out a lot. You'll also need a 3/8 breaker bar. The Jeep wasn't my daily driver, so every day for a week, I gave the bad O2 sensor a blast of rust buster. Come Saturday morning, the bad O2 sensor effortlessly broke free and was easily removed. This new O2 sensor already had a bit of anti seize compound on the threads. All I needed to do was screw it in place and snug it down. Pulled off the positive battery cable for a minute or two to reset the engine code. Works great. Highly recommend this product.
