Very good and useful..

I was looking for a home security system with Mobile App control features for a reasonable price and came across D3D on Amazon. The installation of the product is fairly easy, but don't fix anything until you watch the DIY YouTube video suggested in the product manual . It requires a SIM card which will enable a feature that connects a call to your mobile incase of a break-in . The app is also easy to use and can be connected to Alexa where you can avail the voice command features. The product comes with one motion sensor and 1 door sensor, you need to buy extra sensors separately if you need more. Connecting the devices to the main control system was super easy. I would recommend this product for its price, reliability and easy to use features.

One more thing I noticed after complete installation..... The Door Sensors have been provided with a double side tape which needs to be stuck to the Door Frame/ Door. This double side tape is of Medium Quality and can fall off due to Sunlight falling directly on door and heating up the door or wind/ dust blowing in from cracks of the door. It may trigger a false alarm. Well it has not fallen off for me till now. However I would recommend you to be aware and not panic if you get a false alarm, when the house is armed. Alternatively you can buy a 3M VHB Double side tape and stick it. But be careful while installing, once it (3M-VHB) is stuck you cannot remove it by ordinary means. I am changing my review. (In Cons section, I am sharing my experience, but read the Pro's also). Cons: At first it looks pretty difficult to set it up. 1. The SIM Card which needs to be put is a full size SIM Card (Don't break the SIM into smaller parts). Nano SIM and Mid Size Sim will not work. By chance if you insert smaller SIM in the slot, it will not come out. 2. When you insert the SIM in slot by force of your finger, it will spring out and stand. The way they show in the installation video, it is not that easy. Solution is to take the full size SIM, push it firm by a flat plastic and the SIM will click in. It works by it is tricky. It took me 2 days to learn it as the instrument loos delicate. I was about to return the product, finally I learnt it. 3. You need to be a little bit of Geek person, else you will struggle a bit. Just follow the steps in "Quick Start Guide" given in the box and you will be successful. Do one step at a time. 4. Spare REMOTE is not available on order. Only 2 REMOTE's are provided with the Product. If you loose one of them or if you spoil one of them, life will be difficult. 5. Engineer will not be available onsite in your city. Support is by phone and WA. But it is OK, this is not a major problem. You can set it up on your own. Why pay for the person to install. Pro: 1. This is exactly the device what you want for your Apartment/ Bungalow. It works on Wifi and SIM Card. 2. When armed it checks all your doors are shut, if someone gains access and walks in your house the PIR Sensor will alert you over mobile phone. 3. You can arm and disarm your house from your mobile phone, when you are away. Another alternative is having a Video Camera is good, but do you think you will see the entire day recording everyday when you come back home. It is not practical.

Very very useless product. Motion sensors with even car lights activate the system and siren. Even small things like insects, birds or animals activate the siren and keep you unnecessary awake throughout the night. Extra siren is totally useless and have bug. Many times even after disarming the system, siren keep on buzzing till you dont switch off from mains. I will not recommend motion sensors and siren with this system. Only door magnets are fine.

Once installed, the alarm system assuredly gives u peace of mind. EASY, EFFICIENT & EFFECTIVE In addition, one may, like i did buy additional motion detector alarms as per requirement. Now the installation part, do remember The customer care team is extremely responsive (mon to sat, 1000h to 1800h). I CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES AND EACH TIME THE QUERY WAS INVARIABLY ANSWERED WITH IMMENSE PATIENCE. The guy answering my call (unfortunately i forgot his name) guided me through the entire process while i asked him to keep on hold. Do remember, incase if running on wifi, the 2G band must b active along with the 5G band which is nowadays a common affair. DO NOT read d manual... is kind of confusing,so just call up customer care and ask for guidance... will surely b easier n faster toooo!! Great product n services by D3D!! WOWWW & AWESOME Again called the customer care for query regading operation of control panel... and just as desired and expected... GOT FULL RESOLUTION - THAT TOOOOO WITH A VIDEO CLIP MADE AND SENT BY D3D JUST TO ADDRESS MY ISSUE WELL DONE N WISHING U SUCCESS IN YOUR ONGOING GREAT WORK.

My best investment

Using since 1 year for home security. Must have device. Very responsive, immediately initiates alarm on intrusion. Battery life of motion sensor is excellent, working since 1 year without need to change it.

This is a decent value for money product that comes with its own limitations. Pros: 1. Works with home.wifi and also used the gsm 2g sim to send text messages and can make valls if a sim is used. This is extremely good since not everything keeps their mobile connected to internet 24x7 2. Has an inbuilt battery that will work even during a power outage. The battery may last for 2 hrs. 3. I don't see much or any false alarms. So the system is reliable. 4. You can make phone calls to the system which will auto connect so that you can speak to anyone near the system Cons: 1. The sensor options are limited to the door sensor and the PIR motion sensors. Nothing else is available with company. 2. Anyone can dial (make a phone vall) with the mobile number inserted in the system and arm or disarm the system which is a very big security loop hole. There is no way to restrict calls from specific numbers. 3. No good documentation is available that will explain every option. 4. The customer care is a hit or miss.. They are not supportive always.But ask you to rate 5 stars in Amazon on the first day you start using the product. 5. There is no option to check whether your door is open or closed in the app. You only get notification when the door is opened but not when closed. 6. Made in China product. Overall, it's value for money with its own limitations that will provide you a very basic alerting system.
