I have had 2 dumb robot vacuums over the years. They bumped around the room, getting stuck under furniture and when wedged into corners. So, I was skeptical of getting another robot vacuum but the Tesvor S6 with lidar is a total game changer. Can't say enough good things about it. The lidar maps the room(s) perfectly and the Tesvor S6 never gets stuck. It has good suction and cleans up good amounts of dust. It runs very very quietly. The battery life is great. The associated smart app works great (but could use a bit more documentation about placing restricted zones)After easily downloading a pairing the associated WeBack app you run the vacuum for the first time and it will map the periphery of the room or rooms with Lidar. It also detects obstacles. You only need to do this mapping once. After defining the periphery of the rooms to draw a map on the app, the robot moves back and forth in straight lines covering the defined area perfectly. It continues to sense any obstacles with Lidar and perfectly navigates around them without ever getting stuck. Using the app, and after the first mapping/cleaning run, you can place or remove lines to temporarily block movement into one or more room by selecting custom cleaning in the app. You can also place or remove an adjustable rectangular area or draw lines for a restricted zone of any shape within a room. There is one place in my room with a large plastic chair stand that the robot has difficulties maneuvering around or over so I just restrict that area using the app. Works great. You can change the lines and restricted areas between uses using the custom cleaning app feature without the robot needing to remap the rooms.I'm very very happy with the Tesvor S6. I have run it on low pile carpet and marble flooring. I don't have pets but it works great on dust in carpets and picks up human hair in the bathroom. Don't think twice about buying it. It's a great device at a great price.

The media could not be loaded. [Update: 2/20/22] The map problem is too much of a problem. I spend every other day, clearing the map, and cleaning the machine, in an attempt to get it to run a complete cycle around the 2 rooms. It keeps overlaying the map with another one, then getting stuck because it thinks it's base is outside in my yard. I am incredibly upset that I spent my money on this when I could have got something that works.[Update: 10/15/21] 2 Months later - The map issue is a huge problem. I am now using physical barriers for all the places this little robot gets stuck i.e. just under the front of my refrigerator, under the cabinets in 4 locations and when the map is messed up the vacuum cannot find the charging station. Even when it is right beside it. I have cleaned the machine and we stopped manually operating it hoping that this would stop the map overlapping but it has not. Worth $200 in my opinion as it still cleans up all the debris but it almost has to be supervised to get the full area done.I purchased the Tesvor 6+ robot vacuum and this is my first robot vacuum. We have a chocolate lab that sheds like a lab. Little puppy sized hairballs float across our hardwood floors. Not anymore. I have this run in our main area of the house 2x a day. Once at noon and again at 4am. Discovered that manual operation erases the map and if you pick it up and physically move it, the map will have errors.The mapping is a problem sometimes (all the time. See update). If you look at my last picture, you'll see the map got created at an angle and when you add a restricted box, you cannot turn it so it's a diamond.Also, you can only add 4 virtual walls. These are easier when there's an angle than a restricted box.Gets stuck because of the map problems.I like this vacuum and it's doing a great job. I would recommend that on the first run you block off the areas where it might get stuck like under the kitchen cabinets or the stairs where it could fall. It will create the map and then you can block off the areas on it accordingly using the map in the app. After that, the robot should run without issue.If this review is helpful, please mark it as so. I recently purchased a Tesvor Robotic Vacuum/Mop, I absolutely love this technology. While I'm submitting this review my Tesvor is mopping my 1100 sq ft. downstairs. The vacuum works great, the mop works great, setting up the Wi-Fi connection was a bit challenging, had to call in the assistance of my daughter to set up the 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi because we have dual band, other than that she quickly connected it to my Echo as well. This comes with a remote, or I can manage it from the app on my phone, or manually. I wasn't a fan of this technology, but after babysitting my granddaughter for a weekend at my daughters house and using her robot, I thought, well this is kind of cool, so I purchased one and I'm so glad I did. I would recommend you purchase one if you have hardwood or engineered laminate/vinyl floors, it works great and frees up more of my time to jump in the swim spa.06/0121 My daughter purchased a Coredy R300 for me for Mothers Day, it doesn't hold a candle to the Tesvor. I would say the Coredy R300 is not smart, it has trouble finding it's home station, it gets stuck often and doesn't know what to do so it repeats over and over the pattern where it is stuck. I have to put a baby gate up so it doesn't fall down my stairs when vacuuming up stairs. It just doesn't pick up debris like my Tesvor does. I'm so glad I purchased the Tesvor.
