My biggest problem is acne, and everything makes it worse. I am anxious trying new products, and always do a test spot for a few weeks. I am happy this Kojic acid serum doesn't make the acne worse, and it may make it a little better, which was a pleasant surprise. It is moisturizing, which was also a pleasant surprise, but is very light and soaks right in. It seems to be helping the health of my skin and calming things. I haven't seen a ton of lightening of dark spots, but I realize that takes time. I will continue to reorder.

After about 10 days I noticed a definite improvement in the translucent quality of my skin. Evens out skin tone by eliminating discoloration from damage like scarring and sunburn. Very pleased with this product.

I purchased this product twice and have used diligently. For me, it does not live up to its claim to lighten dark spots. This the main reason for my purchase. I used it on my face and hands. I have sensitive skin and do like that there is no fragrance and it leaves my face soft.

I've been using this serum for almost a year. It works, but it is very gradual. I've seen a big improvement in the spots on my face and neck. As time goes on, the edges of the spots look a lot less defined, like the spots are blending into the surrounding skin tone. My skin looks clearer and definitely brighter. I also like that the serum provides a very light amount of moisturizing, so I can use this all year round. I use a light glycolic acid-based toner before applying this serum, and then after the serum, I put sunscreen on top to protect my skin and prevent further sun damage.

It's a good products but I do use it with three other serums because I have melasma hyper-pigmentation so I have to use a 5-step combo and this is one serum I use in that combo and it does well. However, every time I reorder it it's a different product but each one works well. For example this comes in the dark spot remover, kojic acid, lightening skin. And every time I order the kojic acid I will get a different product so, I have used all three at this time. And sometimes he comes in a different box then what the bottle says. But I have had good results with all three products so far. But I don't get why they keep sending me different products when I'm doing a reorder of the same product I ordered from the beginning.

I have only ever reviewed one other item on Amazon so this is not something common for me. I just purchased this and it is too early to see definitive results but the ingredients in this are stellar. It includes almost all of the common chemicals known to help decrease skin discoloration, Kojic acid, tranexamic acid, arbutin,, licorice root and super oxide dismutase. I bought it for the Kojic acid but when I read all of the other ingredients, it became clear that this has everything in it to do the job. Brown spots are tough to treat and I have never found anything that has just about everything that has been clinically shown to work in one bottle. I can’t believe this hasn’t hit the you tube influencer world yet and the price of it is outstanding. It replaces at least two or three items in one solution.

I’ve been using this brand for 3 years. It’s a good option for hyperpigmentation on richer toned skin types. Not harsh, evens tone gently. It’s actually cheaper going directly to the manufacturer site, I get 2 bottles for what I would paid for one. But do as you will!
