Used this to convert my regular office chair to a drafting height chair that I can use with my standing desk. Works great!

This cylinder exactly fit the Staples office chair I intended it for. I did measure all the critical points before buying, but there's always a chance. This new cylinder is very tall, but all the others I found, were barely taller than the original. Recommended of you need extra height for your office chair.

I've been suffering with a slowly failing cylinder for my draft chair, which is my home office work chair.. My chair would slowly loose altitude at random and most inconvenient times. Usually while I was talking on a zoom call.. and I would be distracted by my video image slowly descending, then would have to awkwardly half standup while I hit the release level to raise altitude again.watch videos on youtube on how to remove your old cylinder, there are a couple of tricks that make it a lot easier.. I had a failed attempt after I tried to wing it on what made sense to me, then took 3 months until I took another stab at it.I can't attest for longevity of product as I've only had it installed for about a week.. but so far this replacement holds my 200+ pounds solid. No slips, I don't constantly have to re-adjust, it's just working!

Très facile à installer. Le défi est d’enlever le vieux. Un bon 30 minutes pour retirer le cylindre en place et deux minutes pour installer le nouveau. Très satisfait du produit.
