Cool Little Gadget!!!!!
It works really well!!!!!! I thought it would be a cheap made in China product, but it actually works! I used it on my bed mattress and it had been months since I put the bed sheets and liner back on. It was fuzz city!!!!!! After trying another method and not panning out, I searched and found this as one of the popular go toos here on Amazon. After a couple people answered my question that it does work on bed mattresses, I got it and used it- it looks SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!! Don’t have before and after pictures but I am so happy it took pretty much all of the fuzzies off!!!!!! Yes it does work on bed mattresses!!!!! It is not expensive and pretty cheap solution, I like that you don’t have to wait to charge it like the other option. Just put new batteries in. Note- if you have a really bad fuzz situation like I did- you’re gonna have to empty out numerous times. However even if you don’t have a big project like I did, you will have to empty out maybe once or twice, depending on how bad the fuzz balls are. This fabric shaver is a nifty little gadget. Pretty simple and straightforward to use. A really good way to get clothes looking fresh again.

Great item
The item looks exactly like the photos which I really liked. I used it for the first time and it works great, it got rid of a lot of the tiny fuzzballs I hate and it was easy to use. However, while I was using it I wasn't being careful and it put tiny holes in the more delicate clothing sometimes even the more durable jogger pants. It is a great product and depending on who uses it correctly it can really work wonders. I highly recommend this item and also that whoever buys it remember to use it with your clothing gently and with said clothes on a flat surface.

Worked well for thrifted long cardigan
Thrifted a long butterfly, loose knitted, cardigan. Was full of pilling. Purchased this fabric shaver because of brand, description, price, reviews. Batteries, AA, not included. Sounds like an electric shaver, not quiet but not bothersome. Very easy to use. Holds very little fuzz in the compartment. Must dump it often, very often. Did not snag on this loose knit butterfly cardigan. I do think it is a decent little de-piller.

Saved My Sweater!
Conair's Fabric Defuzzer is a must-have for everyone's laundry room. I tested this little gizmo out on the sweater that I wore the day I met my fiance. It was horrifying to look at: the sweater was covered in lint and was pilling awfully. I couldn't wear it like this, but I couldn't bear to part with it for sentimental reasons. The Conair Defuzzer is battery operated. No real point in telling you this, except to say that this device does not come with batteries. You will need to have 2 AA batteries and install them. Look for the sticker inside the battery compartment to know which end faces which way when you drop in the AAs.I did not adjust the distance controller when I used the defuzzer for the first time. I used the device "just out of the box" with its preset settings. You want to make sure you work with the garment laid out on a smooth, hard surface. I used the kitchen table. I began by making short, light strokes going down "the grain" of the fabric. I had to apply a bit more pressure because my sweater has a cable knit pattern that creates areas that are higher than others. It worked insanely well! I started to think about everyone in the house..... they all have closets.... they all wear clothes... Could I get others to give me THEIR clothes to fix? Yeah, it was addictive for the first ten exhilarating minutes. I watched as the defuzzer transformed my sweater from unwearable to wearable! I kept working in this manner, making longer strokes down the garment to remove the pilling and lint. If a section had a stubborn piece of lint, I didn't make a sweep over it, I gently but firmly pressed the defuzzer down on that spot until the offender was lifted off (about one or two presses did the trick.)My sweater has delicate, rope-like knit sections that give it a lacy look. I was uneasy using the defuzzer on areas this delicate. I couldn't wear a half clean sweater, though! I took those areas and laid them over the top of my open hand and very gently used the defuzzer to remove the lint.NOTE: You want to make sure that any loose threads are secured or avoided altogether, otherwise the defuzzer may accidentally pull the fabric and make it worse. On a heavily pilled garment, you'll hear the units motor starts to slow down a little bit. You may notice, as I did, that the unit is not working as well. This is the point where you stop, turn the unit off, and clean the lint out of it. There's nothing wrong with the defuzzer, it just needs the fabric remnants cleaned out of it. Pull down the detachable lint collector and shake it out. Grab the stuff that's blocking up the opening to the unit, too. There will probably be a lot stuck there. When you're all finished restoring your garment, make sure to clean the defuzzer out one more time. I used a q-tip to gently get the lint that was clumped up inside the unit. Next, go outside, turn the device on, and let it blow out any remaining lint inside that you couldn't reach with the q-tip. (Make sure you don't have the unit pointed toward your face. I didn't do that. I SWEAR I didn't do that....) Place the lint collector back on the device and wipe the outside plastic part down with a soft cloth before storing it in its original packaging and putting it away. You may want to remove the batteries as well, and store them in a plastic sandwich baggie, placing those in the box, too, if you think you won't be using the defuzzer for a long period of time.Overall grade: for the money spent, A+! Wish I'd bought this sooner!

Exceeded my expectations, by a lot!
This shaver is great. Being battery operated, I wasn't sure how long it would last, but it kept going, and going, and going... 6 times longer than I thought it would, and it's ready for more! I finished before it did! I would highly recommend. I had purchased a different brand but had to return it, because it was faulty. So, I decided to try a good, old, trusted brand, Conair. This has exceeded my expectations.

Saved me money
Works well. Removes piling and makes cloth soft and smooth again. Already saves me money restoring pillow cases, sheets, blankets, shirts, and shorts. Wish I purchased sooner.

Worth $9
It works, mostly. I put in fresh batteries and crossed 🤞 my fingers. I started to de-fuzz a small lap blanket. It did ok, but not great. I tried each of the height adjustments and middle worked the best.1. Battery powered, doesn't last long.2. Built-in height adjuster. 👍3. Built-in fuzz catcher. 👍4. Doesn't hold the fuzz, because it gets stuck under the blades. 👎5. Great handle, easy to use. 👍It's worth $9.

10000000% recommended!
Absolutely amazing! I'm always one of those that goes for the most expensive thing because I doubt the quality of lower cost things. I decided to try this one because my daughter read the reviews. I received it today and put it to work. It works wonders! Game changer! My clothes look like new again! Recommend it 1000000000%
