Kikkerland Bedside Caddy

LOVE this product!! Took forever to get (about 3 weeks; no joke), but it seems Amazon didn't have it in stock in their defense. Ok, I am surprised this hasn't been discovered yet by other design-savvy people, but I am glad to be the first to review it!! I was looking for something that I could hang or place near my bed/night stand that didn't require me to open drawers (night stand) and had my tv remotes/drug store readers/books handy within arms reach... and I found it in this Caddy! It's so easy to install (just lift your mattress and voila!) and it does not move around or fall off. Granted, I have a West Elm platform bed (no box spring, just mattress), but I am sure it should work on a traditional bed set-up too. And it looks great! And to answer someone's question as to whether it conforms to any type of platform or bed frame; I assume it should. On my bed, the "flap" that goes under the mattress (or in between your boxspring and mattress) is somewhat malleable (the flap has a semi-rigid insert inside) and should conform to your bedframe. It did mine. I've attached a photo. :)

I didn't realize how much I needed this until I owned one. It is so handy, especially for someone who doesn't have a nightstand or maybe doesn't have room on their night stand for much. I have a vanity close to the bed but it is very low. I've never figured out why but assume it has something to do with it being antique. Anyhow, I wear glasses and at night, I would put my glasses on the vanity. Somewhere through my tossing and turning at night it sometimes while blindly grabbing for my phone in the dark of night. I would knock my glasses on to the floor. Then, I wouldn't be able to see where they landed because I have horrible vision without them and they have clear frames. It was always a worry that I would step on them and break them because I didn't see where they landed. Or perhaps the lenses wound get scratched hitting my hard floor. With this item, I no longer have to worry about that issue. At night, I just drop my glasses in before I go to sleep and in the morning, there they are, safe and sound.

On beds that have a single mattress with a platform and no boxspring, the pocket tilts backwards and is a little difficult to reach. This is not a big problem, but just an inconvenience.

One of the stars choices pre-review is to rate the remote control?!? It doesn’t come with a remote. It’s a sturdy, bedside multi-pocket caddy that hangs by the side of the bed. I love it. I originally bought it because we were moving and I was going to use this until I received my nightstand that was back ordered. I use my iPad at night and needed a place to put my iPad, phone, chapstick, night lotion...This is definitely the answer. I’ve since set up the nightstand but chose the continue to use the caddy to keep my nightstand neat and clutter free.

I ordered this a while back because the one I had from BB&B was too floppy in terms of straps not staying between mattress and box spring. What I really like about this one is that it has a stiff cardboard or whatever it is that stays well between mattress and box spring--it has not budged in months. It small enough that you are not losing things because everything is in there. I store my remote, e-reader and still have room for miscellaneous items. Would recommend it being produced in additional colors. Love it.

It's a little smaller than I was hoping but it holds the essential items that I wanted it to hold like the remotes, my kindle, sleeping masking, headphones, and glasses. It could probably also hold an additional book and tablet too. I previously tried a clear acrylic bedside caddy that was bigger but it was too big and I didn't like all my items banging around against the hard plastic so I returned it. I prefer the felt fabric of this brand instead. The rigid flap fits snugly under the mattress. I like this caddy so much I'm getting a second one for my husbands side of the bed. Suggestion: offer more colors.

This product is nicely made and would work perfectly, I believe, IF you have either a boxspring under your mattress or a platform with a sideboard that extends down below your mattress—something for the pocket to butt up against, forcing it to hang straight down. We have an adjustable platform base, so when you place this pocket under the mattress and let it hang down the side as it’s supposed to, there’s nothing for it to back up against. And so instead of hanging straight down, as soon as you put anything in it, the weight makes the bottom of the pocket push back under the bed and the top/opening pitch forward. It’s not so bad that books and things tumble out of it, but it does mean it swings to and fro when you reach in to put something in or take it out. And it just doesn’t look as tidy.

I wanted more space so removed my side table and have been using this for many months now. It's so easy to use, fits quite a lot in it and is really sturdy. I've not had any problems with it and would recommend it for anyone who would like more space in their room but doesn't want to put things on the floor.

The lid is to short and it falls from the bed during the night. I am going to have to modify it

Due libri di medie dimensioni + il tablet ci stanno benissimo senza il rischio di cadere e la comodità di averli accanto al letto senza ingombrare inutilmente il comodino è unica. Prodotto molto discreto e dal design ben fatto. Anche la resistenza e i materiali sono ben fatti...
