I think the strait adapter with a solid connection is an older model. The one I received was the later model with the flexible cord.

Does this get very hot when in use?

Not when copying smaller volumes like 1000-2000 photos from SD card. Slightly warm, but not hot, if used heavily, for example if you copy 500GB.

can it read samsung micro-sd ufs card?

You would have to buy a microSD to SD adapter and then it would work

I have 170 and 150 mb/s cards, but the read speed with this reader doesn't go above 92 mb/s. do you know what would be the problem. windows 11*

This adapter seems to max out around 90mb/s read speed. I have a SanDisk Extreme Pro card rated at 170mb/s, and this adapter never came close to reaching that level. On the other hand, I also tried a Lexar UHS-II reader and it almost doubled the read speed (around 160mb/s) of this adapter with the exact same card. This isn't a fast card reader unfortunately.
