Sorceress of Darshiva (The Malloreon, Book 4)

The Malloreon books are, let's be honest, not incredibly well written. All the main characters have started to sound the same, they all use the same idioms and expressions, and things got far too well for them. It's like a band of Mary Sues.I still love this book.It's fun to read, the events and writing are fun and good enough to be enjoyable. It's not war and peace, but it's still a fun read.

I have been reading and re-reading the Belgariad and the Malloron for years. This is the fourth book in the Malloreon. In this book Garion's party are reunited with Zakath and go on to fight with the demons and Durnik finally becomes Beldurnik. Edings maintains a great pace throughout the book with great action writing and interplay between the characters. I don't think you could really read this in isolation but as part of a series it is a good worthy book.

To start with i like this writer. i like the series. When reading this "series"...you need to view as 1 big book. I don't know that i would appreciate it as an individual book.i like the characters and how they relate within the related series. Bottom line. Have purchased entire series as well as the previous one. I look forward to reading them. Will end up buying every one he has written and those that remain to be written.Gw

Part of a saga, enjoyable and refreshing. My only regret is that it ends. I have read this book may times over the years and have always come back to it.

Love the Belgarath series by David Eddings. A great read. This book is one of the series and is a great addition to the read.

This second hand copy of this novel came in more than acceptable condition. It completed the rest of the hardback set I already had.

Great read

over the years I have read this series of 10 books 3 or 4 times. I don't even watch good movies that much. So we know these are good. One thing you will find though, is there's a lot of repetitiveness in the story, this is actually part of the story too. So be prepared to read something similar from previous books in the series.

May be better if you read these books in order.

I have to say that I'm glad I found this author. The tales he weaves are for me first class. The characters are believable and you seem to grow with them, can't wait to read the rest of the books!

Have all the David Eddings books in paperback and it was a no brainer to get them for kindle. A great read for all science fantasy lovers.
