Everything you need to know to get started
This little book tells about everything from tank size to lights, gravel and types of fish and plants. It has beautiful pictures and clear illustrations. Not every fish keeper will agree with everything in it, but if you’re new to the hobby, or thinking of getting into it, you won’t go wrong. My grandsons liked it so much they asked to take it home with them.

Short and to the point...........
Haven't dabbled in aquarium fish in quite a while and this book is really helpful to get caught up. The authors go just deep enough without the content looking like an encyclopedia. Lots of pictures too! Why no 5 star? Because I haven't read any of the other books on the subject. Great book though.

Small Book With Lots of Info
I learned a lot from this book. Bought an aquarium and had no idea you have to cycle it first. This explains the nitrogen cycle very easily for a newbie like me. Covers plants and fish good for beginners. Different substrates. Types of filters. Great book for total newbies and those with a little experience.
