DK The Shakespeare Book: Big Ideas Simply Explained

This book came brand new and clean. The information is easy to digest for people who know nothing about Shakespeare apart from his name and little bits of info (very little bits). The book gives good chunks of valued information,quotes and explains more complex plays. After reading I felt I could have an intellectual conversation about Shakespeare.

This is a really nicely put together book on all of Shakespeare's plays. Typical for DK, the look and feel is excellent. The content is at a summary level and doesn't include the actual plays but is really brilliant for introducing the plot and characters of each play. It works for all ages but the quality of the book makes it ideal for introducing Shakespeare to youngsters.

This item arrived today; and I'm pleased with it's condition, the information, and illustrations within! Very good. Thanks.

This book was brought for a present, for my daughter who lives aboard, she says it’s really great and she is a English teacher so that’s good recommendation.

such a good book, i use it as background reading to the plays so i know what to look out for when reading the plays (i find it difficult to read plays anyway so might just be me who finds it really helpful)
