This item is full of shell pieces. It's a good deal if you don't mind sifting through the entire package to get out the tooth cracking hard shell pieces yourself.

I use this as a seaweed salad to make a vegan version of hiyayakko, and in miso soup. Excellent taste and rehydrated in about 10 minutes.

First time I tried dulse flakes. Wanted to try to cut back on table salt, but need more iodine and selenium in my diet. I like that these are dry and not oily, but I find them to be bland on my popcorn and salad. Great if you can't stand a fishy taste or smell, as there isn't any. But I think next time I will try something more zinnngy-tangy. Would buy this brand from this company again, as they are speedy with delivery and the item seems fresh and of good quality, and they offer good customer service. Will try a different flavor after I finish these.
