I bought the LEGO Icons Ghostbusters ECTO-1 10274 Car Kit for my boyfriend's birthday, and it was a huge hit! Pros: 1. Exciting Surprise: Even though he guessed what it was by the weight of the box (LOL), he was still thrilled when he opened it. 2. Fun Build: He put it together in about 2 days and enjoyed every moment of the build. The instructions were clear and the pieces fit perfectly. 3. Amazing Display Piece: The finished ECTO-1 is now the centerpiece on our dining room table. It looks fantastic and is a great conversation starter. 4. High Quality: The detail and quality of the set are outstanding. It's a true collector's item for any Ghostbusters or LEGO fan. Overall, this was the perfect gift and has brought so much joy and excitement to our home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and impressive LEGO set!

Oh this was a load of fun to assemble, as a child of the 80s Ghostbusters has stuck with me in my life since I can remember and it's been an amazing ride! To see the franchise being brought back flooded me with nostalgia and when coupled with my love of Lego I absolutely had to have this. Being out of stock in Lego stores the nation over I went ahead and ordered it here, paying pretty much the same as retail and then sat down at the kitchen table to put it together. Took me about 7 hours across two days to put this together, not rushing but more enjoying the experience. There are a lot of interesting features of this kit and a lot of decals to be placed, I really toiled over if I wanted to put the rust decals on it and ultimately did, however I think it might have even been better without it to be more reflecting of the original movies instead of the new movies...it's something you'll have to decide for yourself in this. I wouldn't classify this as a children's set, I'm pretty sure this is focused towards us Gen-Xers who have the disposable income and desperate need for nostalgia but it hits the mark and bullseye perfectly in my book. It now lives in my curio cabinet with my other Lego Vehicles, proudly displayed to make me smile every time I walk by it. A great kit and a great purchase.

Two of my earliest childhood loves were Ghostbusters and Legos, so this set was an instant no-brainer. The last five years or so, I've recently reignited my love of Legos and have built numerous larger display sets, including a number of Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series sets, and this was, by far, my favorite Lego build. The details in the model are amazing. There is very little repetitive building (e.g., building a large section, then building essentially the same thing but mirrored, or building multiples of the same chunks). There are some really clever building techniques to achieve different mechanics and shapes. There's great detail all over, from the engine block to the tail lights, in the interior and on the roof. With most big builds, there are usually a few places where the build is a little boring, but this one was pretty much interesting from start to finish. Even the instruction manual for the build looks like one of the old car repair manuals, which is an amazing touch. This was originally planned to release in coordination with the Ghostbusters: Afterlife movie release, but COVID pushed the movie back so the tie-in elements aren't as obvious. The only complaint about the set I have is that the rust stickers look cheesy, cartoonish, and repetitive, so I opted to not apply them to the set. It would have been cool if the set had come with a UCS-style info plate, but really the car is so iconic there's little need for it. All in all, it's a great build, makes an awesome display piece, and has a number of fun interactive elements that make this set amazing.

As usual another awesome Lego set. I had been debating for awhile on getting this or not because of the price and the fact that I mostly buy Star Wars Lego sets. But man am I glad I got it. This was one of the most enjoyable builds I've done in quite some time. The level of detail is excellent. Looks fantastic. There were a couple of tricky parts but if you just take your time it's no problem. I noticed one review where the guy was saying that the roof was impossible to attach. Honestly don't know if maybe he put some pieces in the wrong place or if just not a very experienced builder because it was actually one of the easiest parts for me. Happy with every aspect of this set. If you are a Ghostbusters and/or Lego fan this is a must have. Love it. No complaints.

The model is big, approximately 19" long. It is very detailed, it has a working jump seat from the 3rd movie, and a trap door in the rear of the car that deploys the remote controlled trap from the 3rd movie. There are numerous stickers for this build so I recommend Windex & tweezers. In addition, you need to make sure the stickers are in the right position & orientation on the model in the instructions. The steps are detailed and take your time doing so. Make sure you follow the steps before moving on. The doors and the trap door need to be built correctly for everything to work as it should. Have fun with this one.

Esse lego é espetacular. Ficou lindo na minha coleção, além de dar um charme para a decoração da casa. Vale muito a pena. Recomendo!

El detalle del modelo es genial, el tiempo que te llevará armarlo vale totalmente la pena. Si eres cuidadoso con la aplicación de los stickers, te gustará saber que los de "óxido" en este modelo son muy fáciles de aplicar.
