Dog Training Whistle by K9 Athletix

Product received as described. Not the best "silent" dog whistle nor is it even comparable to the one I had/used in Viet Nam as an Infantry Scout Dog Handler in the 42nd Scout Dog Platoon, 101st Airborne Div, I Corps. Far too loud to use if you don't want neighbors or criminals to know your location.

Worked very little.

This whistle has been a great tool for training my dog to come. I like how you can adjust the sound. I had to do some fine tuning to see what my dog responded to, but as soon as I did it made training so much easier. I wish this whistle was ultrasonic, but the sound isn't obnoxious so it's not bad to human ears. I like how it attaches to my keys, so I can bring it everywhere. I'm pleased with my purchase, and may just get another to attach to a separate lanyard!

Worked, but fell apart regularly- lost half of it in a day. :(

I needed something that could be heard at the coast better than me trying to call my dog over the wave noise. It did that. I just needed to get her to look so I could signal.

Didn't do the job. Seems like a plain old whistle.

I have three dogs. My goal was to make them come to me on whistle sound. It worked only with one of them. Two youngest don't react on it at all. They ignore whistle but come on command. It was waste of money for me

I'm definitely satisfied with my purchase. My dog was very reactive to the blowing of the whistle. A couple biscuits later my dog learned to come to me on command and then sit. We often go to a dog beach nearby, and I let him run loose. When its time to leave I just blow the whistle and he comes straight over and sits! The funny part is that a couple other dogs came over out of curiosity during our most recent trip to the beach. If you're wondering if this will get your dog's attention (and maybe others too), look no further!
