Fight for Life (Vet Volunteers)

My daughter (7) loves it. She loves animals, and was looking for some fun reading book after finishing Wimpy kid series. She is hooked. It is difficult to find book series (she likes series!) which has all three components of 1) age appropriate contents, 2) fun and good read, and 3) easy enough yet challenging reading level for 1 st grade who has pretty advanced reading level. I'm going to get all of the books for this series!

This may not be a long novel, but it moves right along. It is every bit the type of writing I've come to expect from Laurie Halse Anderson. The books may be geared towards teens/young adults, but adults will enjoy these very much. The author of the superb novel "Speak" again finds & channels her inner teen for this tale. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

I purchased this to help my niece who HATES reading and just cant seem to enjoy a book. Well this book scaled that brick wall for her. She dreams of being a vet and connects very well with animals. She and her mother both read the book and called me to share how great it was. I was glad to find a book without demons, horror and negativity, something that was realistic without being covered in the modern day muck of life today. I was thrilled she found a connection and I felt more connected to her through these books.

OK THIS BOOK AS AMAZING. I am 12yrs old and this book basically applied to me. It was very well written and I definitely recommend it if you want a good book to read. It really described the teamwork of the Vet Group I loved this book. I also know the author and I am very proud

A super series. My 3rd grader loves it... so it's wonderful for her to read about anything related to becoming a vet (her dream) and read about it in a fun and engaging way.

Although both my girls, aged 8 & 14, read plenty on their own, we still share a book each night at bedtime. The younger gave it a 4.5 and the older gave it a 3.5, but acknowledged that it was on the young side for her. They both loved the animal story, the passion of the kids, and the way the different personalities learned to come together as a team. Especially recommended for younger readers, we're going to try the next book in the series. What better recommendation is there than that?

This is good chapter book for kids who are interested in animals. My daughter loved listening to it when she was 6. Now that she is 9, she loves to read this series on her own.

I really think this book is an inspiration to all kids or adults that want to be vets or doctors. It also shows people not to give up and not to cry over spilled milk this book is really great!

My daughter loves the stories about the animals. They started to read them in school and then I also needed to order them for home.
