Safari Ltd. Alligator

This was exactly as advertised! I need a really cool cake topper for a birthday cake. The write up on this said it was life-like. Well, the write up was exactly right!

動物の絵を描く時、犬猫は書籍やリアルの子で参考しています。ただ、鰐などの動物になるとやはり資料も少なく、動物園に行っても身近であまり参考になりません。こちらの写真を見てとてもリアルに感じ取れて注文をしました。いざ、注文をして中をみると一部、塗りかけの状態、塗った部分がはみ出て鱗と混ざっていました…。値段的にも悪くはないのですがイメージとは少しかけ、離れており星は三つにさせて頂きます。良いところの部分ではリアルな鱗の部分はとても参考になりました。鰐の正面の顔は特に難しいので資料としては重宝します。

I might be a little old to still buy toys and figures, but the Crocodile and Alligator are my favorite species of reptiles; probably because I am from Florida.This toy, which I didn't realize, is of good size, about four inches in length, and stands bout an inch high.The detail is fairly good, but you can tell the paint was cheap- however for a child, I doubt they would notice it at all. The species accuracy is also very good in detail, but the overall detail and scheme could have been better- but this is considered a toy, not a model, which I am aware of. There are no ugly trademark symbols that disrupt the quality of the product, like there normally are on these kind of figures. As far as a learning tool, this can be used accurately to teach a younger student or child about an alligator and their bite size.It came nicely packaged, and very quickly at standard shipping rates, and I am sure that if your child or even adult loves reptiles like I do, this would be a nice addition to their collection. Currently, it sits on top of the hutch of my desk along with others that I purchased.I would recommend this product, and might by others.
