Good belt
Belt is great, the blue is a nice color plus the gold's bjj tag on it looks good. Good thickness and feels strong so far after many washes. Normally I do A3 but had to go for the A2 as A3 was huge.

Tough, but ties up very nicely. Well worth buying.
I’m a brown belt with ten years of training, I know good gear when I see it. I have had this belt for a year now and it has not so much as lost a thread. No fading, no fraying and the patch is still on despite it being the only belt I’ve used over the past 12 months. And right out of the package it tied into a nice, clean “super” knot and didn’t loosen much at all. I’d say it’s built well above its price range, so if you’ve been wondering if it’s well made, it is! I’ve seen belts two and three times this price not hold up half as well. Pick one up, you won’t be disappointed. The only minor downside is (and I mentioned this on their Facebook page as well; and received a friendly response) that the logo patch is a bit long which leaves little room for name embroidering. But that little quirk is not worth knocking a star off. I still say 5/5.

Great color. Sizing seems off. Long break in time.
I ordered a Gold BJJ blue belt. The color of the blue is a deeper blue, which is what I was hoping for. The color is close to why the photo depicts. After measuring the belt I have, I ordered an A2 (which is supposed to be 112” per the sizing chart). A2 would have been the equivalent of my current belt. The A2 arrived but it was quite small. I didn’t think to measure it. Instead, I purchased an A3, and returned the A2. The A3 was definitely longer than the A2. The sizing of my Gold BJJ belt is off. The A3 belt I purchased measures 113”. The sizing chart states an A2 is 112”, an A3 is 123”. It could be that I received 2 belts that weren’t labeled properly with the sizing. The belt does have a very nice feel to it. I’ve been wearing this belt for the past couple of months now. It’s been washed and dried (on a drying rack). It has softened up a little bit, but it will absolutely not stay tied at all. That is rather frustrating. I tried to give it a chance to break in, but this seems like a long break in period. I want to love the belt because I love the richness of the color and the thickness of the belt, however it doesn’t stay tied and becomes undone after simply repping a technique in class.
