Love it. Needs insole for foot support if on your feet for hours. Maybe just heel cups.

Can you really have a favorite plain rain boot? Yes! I bought them in black.These basic rain boots are really comfortable, and I can wear all day. My feet never feel like they can’t “breathe” when I’ve worn them. I have big calves, so I always look for a shorter boot style such as these. I wear them at home and abroad.On many a vacation where the weather either threatened to rain, or actually did rain, I was able to walk all day sightseeing, climbing steps and wet walkways without a problem. The tread is good - and I never once slid on any surface. I wouldn’t go rock climbing in them. But, I’d wear them in urban areas, on dirt and gravel pathways, and on even on airplanes and cruise ships.No blisters. No achy feet. No wet feet. And, no slipping!I have averaged width feet (I don’t wear a wide, or a narrow) - but I feel my feet are a tad bit wider across the base of my toes. These boots did fit a bit snugly there. So I do not wear thick socks with them. If you sometimes end up with shoes that are too narrow in the toe-box area, I’d recommend going up a half size if it’s available. Or, go up a full size and wear thicker socks.These aren’t “cutesy”, with graphics or bows and bling. They are basic, and will go with many outfits.I hope that this review helps you decide. I know it’s what I would’ve liked to hear when picking out rain boots.

I am happy with these boots. I normally wear a women’s 6 or 6.5, but I purchased the size 7 based off other customer reviews. So the boot is long/loose for me without thick socks, but I agree with other reviews and think the smaller size would have been too tight on the top of my foot. They are really cute, and I like that they do not have any added arch support and are in the barefoot-style. My only compliant is after a day of wearing them all day, the insoles started to unglue and are bunching up in the heel. Otherwise I would have given them a higher rating.

I've had these for a year, I wear them several times a week and they have held up rather well. There are no creases in the toe areas and doesn't scuff easily; however, the "pull up" tab just ripped off today. Does not provide ANY warmth for me. My feet are always freezing when I wear them in winter unless I wear thermal socks. They are waterproof (except for the fabric side of the course.)
