Perfect.
We love all the books in this series, but there is something about this one that is extra special. Every time I read it to our daughters, I cry! Its cadence is lovely and its message so poignant. Truly a beautiful book.

They've done it again!
My goodness do we love this series in our house and the latest does not disappoint. Dare I say it, it is the best yet! What a touching story about connection, and caring and understanding. The acknowledgement of the individuals skills being most important, where we sometimes focus only on shortcomings was a lesson that is always needed to ensure our children are raised celebrating what makes them unique and not what they "can't" do as well. There is so much beauty in this story from every angle. It created a great follow up discussion with both of my kids, 7 and 4, and I believe created new pathways for understanding those with learning differences. Of course, the cadence and rhyming that we love about this series was right there in front, but the softness, tone and strength of this book just hit different to me. I just love it. It will be in high rotation in our house for a long time, I am guessing.

Beautiful story
Wonderful story that helps shine light on ADAd and dyslexia. Beautiful write up from author at end too.

Think of what it’s like growing up with a learning disorder…
This book, although to some may come across as a kid not persevering, clearly illustrates the struggles most kids go through when faced with learning disabilities and differences. In this book however, Aaron was met with embracement of Aaron’s strengths rather than shunned for not being able to meet the expectations. Kids will always be able to grow, but only in the right environment. This book sends the right message in so many ways, for so many kids, families and educators. Take the time to look beyond the potential fixed mindset of what could be seen as a lack of perseverance and try to see the author attempting to reframe how education should be; nurturing and focused on using strengths to support areas that are challenging.

Another great book from the Questioneers!
We were beyond excited to find out they were releasing another book. I pre-ordered it and had planned on giving it to the kids for Christmas, but I was just as excited as they were, and we didn't wait! The story is a little different than the others in the series - and focuses on a boy with dyslexia. Both my 4 1/2 and 7 year old loved it, and we have read it every night since it arrived.I will also be ordering additional copies for my children's teachers (to add to their classroom libraries), and to give as birthday gifts. This book, paired with a fun art set, would make a phenomenal gift for a child between the ages of 3-7.

love this new addition
We've been reading Andrea Beaty books to our kids since we found Iggy Peck Architect when I started Architecture school in 2016. Every story has been great, the kids even love the chapter books. This story has been a great addition to our collection though I will say that for some reason it hits home and I got choked up while reading it the first few times. It's tough being a different kid and thinking in a different way and this book, like Beaty's others, helps to show that we're all different and all amazing in our own ways!

If I could give it infinity stars I would!
Andrea Beatty does it again, but this time with Aaron D. Slater she has created a hero for the ages for neurodiverse kids. This is a beautiful and timeless read!

Good book, kids like it a lot
It's a great book about a kid who struggles to read (dyslexia). An important topic handled really well by the author. However, I liked the verses in Iggy Peck better, somehow the flow of the book was better in Rosie too. Perhaps it's just me and what kind of rhymes I like but Iggy and Rosie get five stars, Aaron and other books in the series get four.

Our fave of the series so far
A beautiful book (story and imagery) and I had no idea it was about dyslexia. Overall though, our favourite story of this series so far. My son asked and asked for this book and I kept putting it off, my mistake! It’s great!
